SPECIAL FEATURES
Armored Environment suit. The Cirgun body armor suit is essentially an multitterrain suit with duraplast, armorweave, and titanium body armor. It is a full body suit composed of the main body encompassing most of the torso, arms and legs, the gauntlets which go from the hands up the sleeves to the elbow, the boots which rise up to the knee, and the head piece. When put on it becomes fully sealed saving the wearer from most environments. With a regulated temperature, pressure, and remaining air and water tight. The helmet features a built in rebreather, 20 minute gas reserve (can be exchanged for gasses other than oxygen), and light regulators.
Cirgun armor: The plates on the suit are layered Duraplast and titanium in plated format over an armorweave body suit. This allows for most of the body to remain covered in armor, but unlike basic armors which use just a few large encompassing pieces, the overlapped plated format allows them to maintain most movement and speed. And where the plates are not, such as near the inner joints, the armorweave offers some protection.
Helmet modifications: Can have a comm unit built straight into the helmet, encrypted, multi-connections, etc. Can have additional sensors built into the helmet.
Strengths:
*Has a good resistance to most types of weaponry, including blasters, kinetic and physical attacks, and even some to lightsabers and grenades. This allows it to perform well as a good multipurpose armor. Since it has armorweave underneath it all, it does still have armoring where the plates are not.
*Designed so it can survive space and most environments.
*Average weight allows most people to wear it daily without feeling too encumbered or tiring them out quickly.
*Good for maneuverability and speed as the plates offer a lot more movement than typical metal armor might
*Helmet is relatively easy to modify and upgrade.
Weaknesses:
*Openings: While there is still armorweave in the non plated locations, these are still the locations of weakness. Most of the body is completely covered. This is however not the case with inner joints such as the back of the knee, elbow, underarm, inner thigh, or palms.
*Cannot be used in every environment: It does not offer any protection against radiation, and almost none for sound weapons. Only barely protecting the ears when the helmet is on due to cushioning. This is generally not mentioned as a strength of the suit, as it is so minor.
*Exhaustion: The suit can still tire some out over a long enough or exerted enough time. Soldiers or most physically active beings would have almost no issue, but somewhat weaker or ill beings would not want to. The Average human would probably tire relatively quickly in a fist fight while wearing this.
DESCRIPTION:
The Cirgun Plate Body Armor was designed for sale to a few types of customers. In particular bodyguards, security forces, and military, but doesn’t reserve to just those. It’s focus on remaining protective but maneuverable took advantage of overlapping plates, allowing the torso to be almost entirely covered by armored plates, even though there were still pieces left less protected, this was over an armorweave body suit, under which was an additional environmental layer for most environments. While it offered no protection to radiation, it was not advertised as an all terrain suit. While still somewhat expensive due to its use of duraplast and making it an environment suit, it was deemed possible that most individuals of mid wealth could afford at least one, and those of the targeted jobs would be needing armor anyway, and the Cirgun Plate Body Armor was close enough in the price range to most others of similar defenses and multi-environment use, but had a better maneuverability.
