BIOGRAPHY:
Cithria is the daughter and youngest child of a solidly middle class Corellian family. Her father, human, was a well-decorated doctor at the Coronet Medcenter. Her mother, a human-Arkanian hybrid, was an award-winning medical researcher, most known for her studies on bacta treatments for rare prenatal conditions. She has one older brother, Alyosha (WIP), the rebellious black sheep of the family.
Cithria lived a comfortable life as a child and spent much of her short free time at the Coronet Medcenter. Her parents worked long hours and she didn't spend as much time with them as she wished, though their annual summer trips to the coast were some of her happiest moments. Alyosha, 10 years her senior, was largely absent, having fallen out with their parents and living as a vagabond in the lower districts.
Cithria's idyllic childhood came to a tragic end. After a fued between Alyosha and an unknown local gang, armed enforcers arrived at the Zratis household. With Alyosha not home, the enforcers intended to send a message, but the Zratis parents were willing to fight back, or at least give time for Cithria to escape. The worst of the bloodshed was blocked from Cithria when she hid in a closet. When the noise had died down and she exited her hiding place, she saw both her parents fatally wounded. She crawled to her father first and attempted routine medical treatment she had learned, but none worked. She cried, her hands pressed on her father's wounded stomach. Suddenly, instinctually, accidently, Cithria used the Force to heal her father, or at least heal enough so he could survive by the time paramedics arrived.
When it was clear her father's condition was improving, she ran to her mother. Not fully
comprehending what just happened, she attempted to heal her mother the same way. But that accidental outburst of the Force didn't happen. It wasn't something she could control. She cried, her father hung onto life, and her mother died.
Stricken with grief, and her Force potential now realized, Cithria's father agreed to send her to Coruscant for Jedi training. Although she was initially reluctant to leave her father behind, she vowed to learn everything she could about the Force and healing, and to never again feel as helpless as she did when she couldn't save her mother.
