• Organization Symbol: The clan insignia is of what the men would call the Phoenix. This creature was thought of as good luck and if seen, treated as a god, though none were alive.
• Description:

Aegis is one of those clans that was based on war, their founder, Aegis was said to have been infused with the god of war, calling himself Pantheon. During a fight with a fellow god sent down to destroy Pantheon, the man was beat down repeatedly, got up every time, but when the sword of a thousand voices was brought down on him, the god inside him died. Once he stood again, it was Aegis, no god ruled him. Using his Orcrist Swords (Beskad), he had slayed the god killer. The man founded the clan right there, many people behind him.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The clan had always been at war with a neighbor. Though they weren't always the legends never talked about it that way. Aegis was at war with Camera, both clans fought for control of the land, each led by their own houses. A story about it was known as "War Between Two Hills." The name was called that because there was a middle ground between two hills, that blocked the view of each clan.

Regularly they would fight, until people like Talon stepped up and swiftly went there and killed the entire clan of Camera. They called for an end after a nursery was bombed. This caused dispute leading to many executions to be held and many of the Mandalorians to turn on each other, starting a civil war. It was resolved when Be'iqaronn burnt down House Aegis killing most inside. This caused the clan to reunite, weakened by war. Talon was extradited for his actions in the war, and escaped execution, the clan striping him of his honor.

The clan was docile living as they did practicing their religion. After Renn had tried to kill Talon, presuming success. He went to the clan, blowing up and burning the houses down in the night, very few escaped, but the attack was so sudden, many had left their beskar'gam. Whoever tried to fight was impaled onto jagged sticks and to be shown at the entrance. This made the clan extinct, no one had tried to rebuild it, and with the runaway's honor gone, they didn't claim it as theirs.
