Hello,

Here's a random snippet for the day. Is it that their actions during the Clone Wars really did made them a shame to Mandalore, or are they just not popular? I noticed that the Kryze clan of Mandalore has little activity in this website (heck, the Wookieepedia article is tiny) I made an advanced search, there's only two people aside myself who rped a Kryze, and neither of them are active now. Either way, I'm puzzled. Is there a way to draw more attention to Clan Kryze?

I've only heard of clan Ordo and Vizla before. I think no one is playing as a Kryze because they don't know what clan Kryze is.

They were active during the Clone Wars. Most were pacifists, but one or two like Ko Batan stuck with the "old Mandalorian" ways of war and honor.

I don't claim to be an authority of the clan or why they would be considered a shame to Mandalore however it may have had something to do with them being primarily pacifists if what I read is accurate. As for how more attention could be draw to them I would suggest attempting to promote joining the clan so that it has a larger visual presence.

Thing is, initiates can't be clan heads. I could spread the word without being one though? Also, my major npc, Aidrium, left the Mando's because he wasn't the fighting type, so it might draw some more negativity...

I would suggest continuing the development of your character. The Head of the Clan doesn't need to be a visible presence, or even one that Andrea interacts with, then if you choose that direction for Andrea you could do a thread where she challenges and takes control of the Clan in the future. As for drawing attention to the Clan Kryze all that really involves is some active recruiting, even the suggestion that people new to the Mandalorians, or the site, and looking for a Clan might choose them. There are plenty of opportunities.

It isn't the fault of the clan so much it is the fault of EU and Canon for creating so many groups of them that there are literally too many choices. Ordo and Vizla are by far the most popular, and they've retained a large majority of mandalorians from what I've seen, and trailing behind are various other famous names. The issue is that Kryze doesn't have a famous face, where Ordo and so on have people such as Canderous Ordo and such.

Maybe Filoni will do something more with the Kryze Clan. I personally like them a lot.

Personally, the Clone Wars TV show was largely unpopular compared to the rest of the Star Wars Franchise, at least in my opinion (as I generally hated everything related to Episode 2, although there were a few redeeming episodes of the series). That being said, she was featured in maybe 2 or 3 episodes, whereas the likes of Canderous Ordo, Bobo and Jango Fett, and Chernan Ordo were all either Mand'alor or had a small cult following, whereas Satine was hardly known by anyone and isn't exactly anyone's ideal for a Mandalorian.
