A masterpiece of a weapon, this Nagai longsword was created by Clan Talo several generations ago, becoming something of an heirloom weapon. It was originally forged with songsteel, which gave it incredible lightness and resistances, before having the common practice of Nagai cortosis-weave fabrication being infused into the steel. Finally, a mono-molecular edge was painstakingly applied to the long blade, which increased its cutting power considerably. It since served Clan Talo in honor duels in Nagai society, as well as a warrior's weapon dating back to the Nagai-Tof War.
Over the years, as technology has improved, the longsword has been altered to better suit modern standards. The latest inclusion was by Jand Talo, who - with his aptitude for mechanics and engineering - fabricated the weapon to be capable of collapsing into the handle. The longsword still boasts the original Nagai culture design of Clan Talo, including the circular patterns of their family line, and continues to be used by 1st circle (leading family) Clan Talo warriors, with it currently being wielded by Jand Talo.
