DESCRIPTION

The House Mecetti Nationalized Industries enters the Protected Transport market with the Class Five, a spiritual successor of the Imperial Class Four Cargo Transport. Roughly a third larger than the old Class Four, the Class Five sports improved armor, improved shields, better armament, and ample point-defense blasters to protect it and its cargo. Moreover, a large rear hangar allows it to carry its own escort, or to transport smaller vessels from one place to another as needed for logistics purposes. Do you have a cargo to move, but can't spare a frigate escort? Whether hauling cargo canisters, or just using its own ample internal hold, the Class Five Protected Transport is the only ship you need to move cargo through dangerous territory unscathed.
