There were places I never wanted to visit. Then there was this planet.

Walking upon the charred ground, and ships still spewn about as though a giant child was disappointing they were broken. My speeder was flying across the landscape. As broken as it was, it was beautiful in its pure destruction. There was one reason why I was here. One reason only.

To find those who had perished.

Yes. Quite the difficult thing to do. Finding the dead in a land of death. Yet their bodies were long gone and long looted by the Galactic Alliance. The same alliance that was almost holding my people against their will. It angered me so, but that was not the reasoning for why I wanted to find these dead men.

I intended to do something more.

Thinking that this was the best spot, the main courtyard of the citadel that had once been the front of the Dominion faction from what seemed so long ago. It was here I removed myself from my speeder, and reached into my bag. Pulling out what only could be a tome. Flipping through the pages, I found what I needed. Setting the bag down on the ground, I began to do my work. Drawing in a circle, symbols and runes with collected blood. Layering it a few times to make sure it would stay. It is here that in the circle, I stood. Book in my hands, and I began to speak in a language long supposed dead.

"Nu byloti je'sae tave jen' laisvas. Girdeti nuyak zuca ir klazje kia nuyak visita. Galez tave guduma pradzia ir tave luai gimti. Prai edoui kuris zebia savimi, vi tave guduma buti vi viekis, Nu reiklauti savimi kia nun. Jok kuris rixik kia zebia nun."

Now I play the waiting game.

Translation
I speak unto the dark void. Hear my voice and listen to my calling. May the dead rise and the living fall. Pray those who face them, as the dead are as strong, I summon them to me. Any who dare to face me.

The netherworld of the force wasn’t what one thought it was, you heard tales of those who had traversed its wastes years ago when the initial Netherworld event took place, you heard rumors of the fates that befell those who eventually died, those who allied themselves with the dark. Some dismissed these rumors as just that, the ancient Sith lord, Kruel Zing believed them to be true, his essence and being torn asunder by his sacrifice. Something very few other sith would’ve done, Kruel hadn’t sacrificed his life in the name of fear, not in some self-righteous gesture but instead to ensure the survival of his students, of The Dominion and their goal. How many days, months or years had passed since he had given his all to create a force storm the likes of which the galaxy had never seen? Time seemed to pass far too fast in the Nether or was it all too slow? Impossible to tell, the disembodied screams and echoes of those who were once Sith cried out in hopes of keeping their individuality, their freedom. All for naught.

Then there came a calling, not one of the light, Kruel’s sentence was not over, it would never be. He was meant to wander the wastes searching for what was once himself, for the memories that had been lost. The holes that he kept trying to piece together, to become whole once again. Every time he found one it seemed to slip right between his incorporeal fingers. Looking up as words of power were said Kruel felt a faint tug, a lifeline that extended through the depths of the nether searching him out. Calling to him, a faithful hum, a golden tether in which the being grasped onto. There was the pull of power and like that Kruel Zing, Darth Ambroscus, was brought back to the land of the living. Not in a vessel of his own but instead in a confined circle.

Looking to the darkened skies above, the rumble of thunder spoke out the nature of this world, its aura still sheathed in darkness. This was the world in which Kruel had given his life, it was an all too familiar sight as his memories came flooding back, traces of his power returning. “Who dares summon me?” Looking down to the individual that stood before the circle the disembodied voice of Kruel Zing called out.
