Cleansing Erida

Not Ordo

Just under the upper hand.

The Neti walked across the dead world. The color had simply drained from the surface. Clouds of ash and dust swirled in the air as winds blew once living trees away until they had simply disappeared.

His heart broke as he looked on the world that had once been so vibrant to full of life and purpose. He knelt on the ground and fished out a data crystal. This had been his purpose for so long. To record history, to keep truth in its rawest form and preserve it for the future. Secrets, he had many but they would be known soon enough.

He activated the crystal and sighed heavily.

"Erida, the contents of the world's history amd the records of their traditions have been gathered and placed here oitside the temple of Erida. Two beings, a priest and priestess, have been found locked in a sealed chamber in some form of force stasis that was untouched by the horrors that laid waste to the world itself. I presume they were the only survivors but we can not be certain.

"My fellow keepers and I have resolved to attempt and heal the wound in the force here that thus far has made all hope of recovery of the planet impossible. I have lived for 3051 standard years, ten months and fourteen days. We keepers have watched recorded and cataloged all we could. Those of us that do not participate in the ritual we are plaining will continue to do so. The rest, the old ones like myself, may not survive this.

"To those who find this place. Remember the price of power that was extracted from this world. No being should use the force in this way. The force can heal, and destroy but greed and power for its own sake, brings only death. This will be my last recording."

The collected keepers came forward and piled high their collected histories, Neti, Aing-ti, Dathomiri, Keshiri, and more. The beings, 13 in all formed a circle formed a circle of twelve around The old Neti who had volunteered to be the focus for the healing ceremony. One by one, each acording to their own system of beliefs began to open themselves to the force.

Kalizka, sat upon the desolate ground and let his body slowly rock back and forth in time to the will of the force. The keepers let the force pour through them like a torrent and directed the energy at Kalizka. He took it and directed it into the planet that lay dead beneath them.

The first keeper faded into the force, her clothing dropping into a pile where she had stood, and Kalizka felt her lifeforce pass through him. The next dissipated , and Kalizka felt the pieces if his heart break one by one. Roots began to struggle from his body and delve deep into the dead crust of ground as one by one the keepers gave their beings to close the wound.

Kalizka's body began to glow as his robes were shredded by his now growing form. Roots delved ever downward while trunk and branches clawed for the sky. Limbs thickened and leaves sprouted from his now willow like body. The last of the twelve disappeared and Kalizka released a scream through the force at the energy from the Masters of the keepers passed through him.

A light bright enough to rival a new born sun flashed into the sky and down through the planet's core. As the light faded a lone tree stood where Kalizka had once been. A willow 50 feet high spread it's branches, its long thing branches brushed gently against the still dry ground.

Erida was not recovered. That would take years and decades yet, but the wound was stitched and life could once again begin. His last thought was a plea to the force and thanks.

"Let them have peace, and thank you for using me one last time."
