STRENGTHS
- Begone Vehicles!: The amount of firepower present makes destroying vehicles
- Target, Maximum Firepower!: The use of Ultra-Power Blast Mode when firing the light turbolaser can put a very large hole through someone without much worry.
- Deploy Infantry!: It can easily deploy through two large holes at the bottom of four dozen infantry. Handy and useful since he has no real anti-infantry weaponry of its own.
- Slowly I Turn!: This thing is slow behemoth, it won't go anywhere fast but it will keep them protected otherwise. Meaning if flanked, it can end disastrously.
- Barrel is Blowing Out!: Each time it uses the Ultra-Power Blast Mode, each use starts to destroy the barrel and make it more and more less effective at longer ranges. It is not unusual to replace the whole turbolaser barrel assembly after a deployment.
- Legs Are Part of Weapons Systems!: The unique design meant that the joints connected to the main weapon systems...meaning it can easily destroy an entire weapons platform just destroying a leg of an armored walker.
DESCRIPTION
The Tengo Assault Armored Carrier Walker was created under the Eternal Empires planning stages. While Armored Walkers have been useful, the idea of needing to transport infantry is something that is more or less required. What was not clear was how to transport them, which Callum Saville only quoted as "Severe and Unrelenting Firepower" which is what the engineers took to heart. Designing a large weapons platform requires a lot of work and with it, they created the Tengo. The Tengo incorporates the latest Locke and Key Mechanics new weaponry, as well as Breshig War Forge Consolidated first use of a Disruptor Cannon, something frowned upon on use but seemed necessary in the build.
The build was designed on two fronts, the first being the use of unrelenting firepower which was to be brought down onto others and the transportation of others in the combat zone. While speed and maneuverability was sacrificed, the weapons installed was enough to bring down a larger walker of its size and even large scale buildings. Due to the immense weight and requirements of transportation, the legs were fused into the actual body itself, saving on weight and much needed space. However this set up came with two flaws, one is that if destroying a leg, the whole thing may just be inoperable for the rest of the engagement. The other was that it now required two pilots to control the whole Armored Walker.
Unlike others, this requires at least one engineer before deployment. The two pilots are divided onto two unique fields, one is to move and operate the machinery as the other uses the targeting systems and weapons systems. The mechanic in charge is to passively keep energy levels in check, as well as constant rebalance of the joints on the Tengo. Multiple engineers are preferred as things can be damaged and sometimes, even hectic keeping things in charge. With all this room also, fourty-eight passengers are in the rear section of the Armored Walker, allowing through two portholes at the bottom for rappel and quick insertion. This is the most heavily armored place in the Tengo as the whole use is for infantry transport only, even though it can in theory, be used for front line assault.
