- Combat Function: The pilots are extremely well trained in use of their starfighters. In the event of a crash, they are to emergency respond and have support craft pick them up in a hurry. They are invaluable and extremely hard to replace. While they are armed and dangerous to still take down in a fight, they are not a one man army.
- Skilled Combatants: With a group or without, they are deadly in their Zeebos and when let out on the ground. Each pilot is unique in of itself and while no two are alike, they are not easy to kill either.
- One with Walkers: Their training with the Starfighters provided with the Neurocrowns have given them near unprecedented control over their machines. Due to this, they are much harder to take down than other starfighter pilots
- Hard to Replace: Losing one is a tremendous blow, possibly taking months to find even one pilot that can even attempt to fill the spot. Losing a pilot in any capacity, is a problem.
- Difficult Deployment: It takes a lot to pull these pilots out for deployment, generally requiring notice. They aren't going to fly out on the first alarm, they fly generally on the third or fourth unless planned. Ambushes...generally mean no deployment until very late. They are very coordinated and don't do things unless it is on their terms.
"COB" White Claws were created in the aftermath of the Spirit of Holowan battle, one of the most hostile encounters in Court of Blades entire history. Out of that whole ordeal, only twelve pilots survived and became the basis of the entire restructure pilot program. While they are more of instructors then anything, they still have to provide a lot of groundwork for the Court of Blades. Ages ranging from twenty-two to seventy, these pilots are among the best of the Court of Blades. When they are not educating the current regiment of pilots, they are generally out practicing maneuvers in their Zeebos till they are near total perfection.
