• Gatekeeper: The Gatekeeper takes the form of the Holocron's creator. Darth Mitis was a blue-green skinned Duros with an average build. His aged and weathered features and soft demeanour can give him a disarming image. This Gatekeeper is charismatic and enjoys looking for hidden potential as well as spreading some encouraging words on the way. He will challenge prejudices and deny any accusations of being evil. Darth Mitis will freely share his knowledge with anyone he believes can be corrupted and turned to the dark side or who can be made to fall even further. While he will still engage in conversation with those entrenched in the light or who are already firm in their dark beliefs, he is less likely to share his vast knowledge of the force with them. The goal of the Holocron's gatekeeper is to corrupt those who interact with it.
• Description: This holocron is a square-based pyramid. A peaceful shimmering light will emanate from its reddish walls. The frame is of a metallic black and has a few simple but elegant decorations. It has pointy edges and a comfortable warmth to it if touched. Force users may feel that it is a dark holocron from a distance and it will slowly but surely work to corrupt what is in its immediate vicinity - this primarily affects flora & fauna.

DEFENSES

• Accessibility: Any force user can activate the Holocron upon physical touch as well as a few moments of concentration.
• Security: The Holocron's gatekeeper will interact with anyone. Before sharing its knowledge, he will often engage in a talk with the user in order to gain an idea of how entrenched they are in their alignment. It is not uncommon for him to want to telepathically reach into the mind of his target to truly get to know them. It will be harder to earn the Gatekeeper's approval for a person who struggles against it and successfully closes their mind off.

CONTENT INFORMATION
Mainly, this holocron contains knowledge on force-based telepathy. Telepathy is not a dark power by default but Darth Mitis has a tendency to twist its use towards the dark side. He will opt for more intrusive and at times even brutal means of achieving his goals - oftentimes, his knowledge will be presented as a slippery slope from a rather neutral approach to a more dark one.

Prime examples of techniques that Darth Mitis enjoys teaching are Battlemind, a dark version of Battle Meditation, Force Subjugate and Memory Walk
