Cold as Feth (Romeo Sin)

Katar found herself wandering around in a dreamlike state. So much SNOW.... She'd never seen it before! And Hoth was COVERED in it! She took off one of her gloves to stick her hand in the fluffy white stuff. It was pretty cold. She had to remove her hand after a minute or so, shaking it so that it didn't go completely numb.
It had been about two hours since Katar had gotten here. She probably shouldn't have wandered so far away from the spaceport, but her curiosity couldn't be contained. She could always find her way back. Being a tracker as good as she was on top of her Force training made that much possible.
She turned to look at the tracks behind her. She'd lost sight of the spaceport a while ago. Hmmm... It looked like there was a storm up ahead. Maybe she should turn back? But... She'd never seen a snowstorm before. A few minutes inside one wouldn't hurt, right?

The halls of the academy were bustling with students socializing, walking to their next classes, and some preparing for scheduled duels.
Sentries stood still, watching them, protecting them, they were disciples of the darkside, tasked with the protection of the academy, just as Romeo had hoped they would agree with. They had all eagerly accepted, wanting a role to play in the academy.
So far they were doing amazingly, they had stopped fights from breaking out, shoved away wampa attacks, and tracked down lost students in the snow.
Romeo were his white robes, his mask hung on his belt as he watched this all with a smile.
"M'lord, the blizzard's about to be at it's peak." His comlink peeped in his ear.
"Good, give the daily warning throughout the academy. Let everyone know they are not to be outside till the peak has fallen by seventy percent. Transfer energy from the mountain turrets to the scanners."
"Good m'lord."
With that the comlink went quiet, and Romeo made his way to the entrance to watch the escorting of the students back inside. Gundans were placed outside, and soon there would military bases nearby to help with this routine.

Okay. This was a bad idea. A very bad idea. Katar couldn't see ahead of her anymore, nor could she see behind her. It was very cold, very windy, and so white that she couldn't even see the horizon. Her eyes watered from the wind that bit every part of exposed skin. She was so cold she couldn't remember which direction she was going.
Her hood wouldn't stay up. She couldn't even feel her face. Each step was stiff and difficult as her legs started sinking into the snow. She did her best to try and feel for something, anything, through the Force. But there was nothing.

As the students were bustled in hurriedly, the storm kicked up even more than usual. It was nothing to worry about as the academy was well built, and encased into a mountain. What was to be worried about was when Romeo's comlink peeped shortly after the students were inside, and safe.
"Sir, radar is picking up a heat signature close by."
Romeo rolled his eyes.
"It's probably a wampa."
"Sir, its a single signature, and it's dropping fast. It seems to be moving aimlessly."
Romeo turned to look at the adepts behind him, watching his reactions.
"Are all students accounted for?" He asked
One adept looked at the other who spoke.
"We are..unsure m'lord."
Romeo quickly turned towards the large doors to the academy, busted them open, and spat orders.
"Get a search team ready, three teams of six. Get it moving now."
"Sir, are you going out there?"
"Yes!"

For God's sake, why did she do this?! Katar berated herself as she tried again and again to get her bearings. The tears that had been driven out by the wind had froze to her face and eyelashes. It was getting so hard to see... She couldn't feel her feet or her thighs. Hell, she couldn't even feel her hands anymore. Despite the horrific storm around Katar however, she started to feel warm. Warm? But that didn't make any... Hypothermia. Chit.

Romeo was blasting the cold away with fire, as he moved through the snow, melting a path for him to walk in. The whole time he was searching through the force for where this person was. It could only be two things, a student, or a spy. He was ready to either kill, or save a soul, and neither would be a big feat for him, just another day at work really.
"Sir, we cant find the signature, it's almost gone." His ear piece went off.
Feth
He kept moving searching out, till he saw a figure.
Romeo charged forward, the cold now getting under his armored robes.
"HEY!" He called out, and reached out as he neared the body before him.
"Are you all right?"

Katar was so cold. She stopped moving. She couldn't move. The snow was too deep. She was now stuck, and looking up to see... A person? Her eyes were almost frozen shut. Surely there wasn't anyone else out here. She must be hallucinating or something. But there was also a muffled yelling in her ears. She couldn't quite make out what it was saying, though.
Katar could feel herself getting extremely sleepy. Her entire body was numb. She was going to die from her stupidity it seemed. How fitting.

Romeo ran at full speed, coming on her in now time. He could tell it was a woman now. He swept her off her feet, and took a knee as he drew on the force to warm up his body to intense temperatures. This began to cause blisters in no time, but he ignored it. "Activating my signal. I found the person!" When he activated it, he continued to embrace the woman, removing his robes to wrap her in them, still using the force to increase his, and her body temperature.

The figure came closer to Katar. She wasn't imagining this. They were real! She was off her feet in seconds, feeling a sudden heat start to course through her body. The numbness was leaving, being replaced by violent shivering. The person (who she now saw was a man) wrapped his robe around her, practically cradling her as he started walking. She did nothing but shiver and stare up at him.

"Its okay little one, you're safe now" Romeo spoke up as he continued to use the force rise her body temperature. Had he been any later, she may have died, though she seemed quite the able one. Within seconds a speeder was already setting down before them, ready to pick them up. Stepping in, Romeo held onto to the woman tightly, "Get us to the academy, please." [member="Katar"]

Warmer and warmer...
Katar was beginning to feel her fingers and toes again. Her shivering died down considerably as the man spoke comforting words and held onto her as they got into a vehicle. She didn't entirely enjoy be cradled by someone, but she was hardly in any position to complain.
The man said something about an academy. Out here? Why would someone build a SCHOOL in the middle of a frozen wasteland?! Unless.... They didn't want to be found. Were they criminals? Sith? A cult of some kind?
Whatever the answer was, she was about to find out.

Romeo reached up to the driver to go on there way, then returned his attention back to his cradled being in his arms. He could sense something was different about her, something more than human, even though he was sure what being human was he was not human. "Can you hear me? What's your name?" Romeo asked. He began to rub her arms with his palms, people always asked what this was for. It was to help stimulated the flow of blood in one's body. "My name is Romeo. Why were you out there all alone?"

Katar looked at Romeo's hands rubbing up and down her coat-covered arm. Whatever he was doing, it was making her still get warmer. She looked up to meet him in the eyes.
"Katar..."
She mumbled very softly in response to his question.

Romeo shook his head, the person was near death from cold, it was stupid what she had done, and she had not even answered his full question. He sighed. "Well, Katar. You are lucky. Any longer and you would be dead." Romeo continued to rub her body down to help blood flow, using the power of Convection to get warmth in her body.

A few minutes later the speeder would be at the academy, it stopped, and awaited orders. "Stay here." Romeo lifted the woman up, she was lighter than he thought. When he exited the speeder, the cold nipped at his skin that was bare. He ignored it, and walked into the academy. When he entered, many rushed to aide him. "Get the medic area ready. We need to get her stabilized." He looked down at the little lady, "Still with me?"

Katar slowly nodded. She felt extremely tired, and there was a sensation of pins and needles all throughout her muscles. She glanced around a little. Honestly she was too tired to care about where she was anymore. She shuddered a little.

The woman was still in and out causing Romeo to rush towards the medical area, the force slowly giving him the speed needed to reach the med bay in time. Placing the woman on a free bed, he took off the coat he had placed around her, searching for a vein. A medical team suddenly rushed behind him, gently pushing him out of the way.

"What was she doing out there?"

"I'm not sure."

"Well...she almost died."

"You don't think?"

Romeo wavered the man, ignoring him completely.

"Hey." Romeo walked over to her side, placing a hand on the side of her head. "It's okay now." He looked behind him, Dark Jedi all watching him.
"Leave us." And with that, the unneeded audience left them. "Rest now Katar. You are safe."

Katar stared up at him a little longer. Her gaze wandered for a bit. Finally, she let her eyes close. Her head turned into his hand a bit.

Katar slept for about four hours. She curled up in Romeo's coat much like a cat. She even started purring a little. Eventually, she opened her eyes and peeked out of the garment a bit.

Romeo had fallen asleep himself by the second hour of her resting. His hand still holding her face, the man gently snoozed away. When she finally awoke, Romeo still found himself in the grasps of sleep.
