Cold Ember

Solan leaned back and looked up at the sky for a moment to take a gauge on the time. There was to be a visitor today to the home he resided in and it was odd due to the origin of this one. A member of the ember from what he was told, a group dedicating itself under the One Sith during this time. He wasn't quite too thrilled and it took a mountain of precautions but the arrival of this woman should be unhindered and her stay uninterrupted, this time atleast.
He had to admit, having the Covenant over his planet was a pain at times itself. And they were not full sith like that of their brethren whom abuse the power they are given for their petty projects and for more power they do not deserve. He did not have high hopes that the conversation with this member of the ember to be all too enlightening. Considering he did not believe in the teachings of the Ember, as for the goddess... he had not thought long enough on her to get his own judgement. But it was something he was curious to see about what this woman would say.
The thoughts rolled over his mind as he continue to look to the sky. The woman would be here soon, he could tell just by a feeling he was having. As such his boy rose and he moved over to a nearby room. He would need to clean his hands before the woman arrived and then meet her in the main hall. It had been a long time since he had seen a vahla that was not Romeo Sin.

The shuttle seemed to buck and weave, dodge and cut through the clouds above. It moved smoothly, fluidly, as though the pilot were in tune with the planet itself. Those within would find themselves of sure feet and confident standing, one in particular would remain unmoving, stationary and perfectly in place as though she were a statue placed there nearly a century ago.

She wore a thick robe of cloth, her horns protruding from beneath a heavy cloak, her hands clasped in front of her and her face mostly hidden.

There was an air of confidence around her, a bemusement that hung to her like ornaments from a tree. A weight sat upon her shoulders, though the origin was unknown. Those around her stood well clear, the troopers holding to one side of the ship as she held onto the very center. As the shuttle came down, shaking as its ramparts struck earth, the Handmaiden was the only one to remain still. She did not budge as the shuttle landed, she only stood, waiting for the ramp to lower onto the earth below.

As the cold steel descended, the Handmaiden wandered forward.

Solan stood waiting and watching as the shuttle touched the ground, having wanted to see first the visitors to his home after looking over the place in which this woman originated from. For a few seconds he needed to say and do nothing past set his eyes on the slowly descending ramp but once it hit the ground his eyes would focus on the figures that emerged from the ship. First he found himself looking at what ever troopers had come with her, raising a brow at their presence before focusing back on her.

He could not tell much of anything about the woman whom stood there. Her face itself being obscured almost completely from him an he wondered why she was doing such. It mattered little though as he was sure sooner or laater the hood would come down and he need not worry about it. "A pleasure to welcome you to my home. I must regret that your name escapes me, though that of which you represent do no. I must say its been a long time since ive seen one of the Vahl here."

For a moment, the woman said nothing.

Instead her eyes began to wander. They lingered upon the man for only a moment, seeking something and not finding it. They then wandered to her surroundings, laying upon the landing pad, the gardens in the distance, and everything else that could be found. A shift of her cloak followed a small shrug and roll of her shoulders, the horns of her head catching on the hood for a moment before slowly sliding to the side. Her eyes eventually settled on the man once more.

"Yes." She said in confirmation. "It has been long since we have come here."

Her voice was an even, neutral rasp, as though it vexed her throat to speak. "Yet time changes all things."

The guards from the shuttle assembled behind her, oddly stern faced men that kept a surprising distance from their mistress.

He watched her just as she looked for something in him, it was not a normal occurrence to find someone who could actually look into him with swiftness this woman had though it made him all the more curious as she did. Almost to the point of his own curiosity into her rising until she spoke in confirmation. It was all too... enjoyable to see as she stood there and spoke such. He was an odd man as it was but she was odder yet. With almost an air of superiority over those guards that had assembled now he looked only at her as he welcomed her in a more correct way for her.

"Well, i am honored none the less to have one of the Vahl here, ive not followed her in some time so you must forgive me if i forget her tenets during your stay... i must say though, are you not Vahla? I had not remembered Vahl taking those of whom are not her children into service..." He raised a brow and turned halfway, welcoming her to walk with him if she so chose.
