Tall Mute Goblin Lady
Rayne sat within the confines of her walker, gazing out at the pouring rain beyond the warmth and shelter of it's durasteel walls. Ever since she had picked up that wounded guy and nursed him back to health, the downpour from above seemed non-stop. The Rayne-Runner usually did pretty with more extreme elements, but an increasingly muddy ground had forced her to a snail's pace. What was most frustrating was, of course, that she wasn't able to collect scrap with the weather like this. It was far too dangerous to risk. So there the young scrapper was, curled up in her tortilla blanket on her frameless mattress, about the saddest looking bed in hindsight, but a comfy piece of furniture nonetheless. It seemed she was going to be there for some time...
But then something strange occurred. Rayne was overcome with overwhelming feeling that someone was out there, lost in the storm. She didn't quite understand why. It seemed like such a silly instinct, but to the young Twi'lek woman it felt so real. Rayne sprung out of her bed, throwing the sliding door of her walker open to gaze out into the rain. Sure enough, just she had felt, there was an individual out there, the vague silhouette of a person moving in the distance. Rayne threw her lights on to see if she couldn't draw their attention.
"Hey!" she called out with her vocoder. "Hello?"
Weird.
She had felt a person. How did she do that? Was it the same power that let her control tech? It seemed that there would be no answer to her questions, as they were all internal things she would likely never ask another living being. It was worth the thought experiment, at least.
At least now she could try to help a lost stranger out of the storm. They could be on the edge of hypothermia out there. Rayne couldn't sit by idly and let them walk by...
OOC Note: Hey. Nothing to wild, but I am looking for new folks to thread with. If you have no threads with me, consider this a you priority. : )
