Inside Marauder-class Corvette "Reborn"

Captain Gaki would be waiting patiently on the bridge, tapping his left foot a few times as the crew were very lax at this point. This was to be a raid, a corvette. They been behind several hundred thousand credits and the idea of making some credits, selling off potential loot AND taking a corvette into their fleet to pay off a bit of debt made it all worth while. The blackness from afar of space would stare back into his face as the clock slowly ticked on by, his marines slightly tense below for all things considered as this should been happening by now as he turned on the intercomn.

"Send in our...friend to the bridge. He should bear witness to how an operation should unfold."

As he turned off his intercomn system, he would stare back forward as he nodded to the communications officer as a tactical readout was displayed. The Durasteel Pedal...thankfully he had enough time to gather information about this particular vessel. It was formerly a Hammerhead Scout Corvette, a rather nasty armed corvette for its time period but it was not currently for this period of time. Gathering some data from the space port officials, the ship was still armed with a few laser cannons but no turbo laser batteries, unlike the Marauder whom was armed to the teeth along with twelve starfighters and two ATR-6 Gamma Assault shuttles loaded with Marines. As time would pass on, he would slowly stand up and strode a bit closer to the glass screen, overlooking space itself as he patiently waited for the others arrival as one chimed in an unusual question.

"Sir, what if reinforcements arrive for the Durasteel Pedal?"
"Then my dear friend, we shall kill them. However if we can disable any, it would be worth its weight in credits. We are pirates after all...we should take advantage of everything we see."

The boarding of ships and theft of goods wasn't something Kresslyn would normally consider, but large operations like this would keep him in good fighting condition for when the need arose. The Eternal Empire would need able fighters. After regrouping with [member="Captain Gaki"] and his fleet of what was either comprised of purchased, stolen, or "loaned" ships, he sought temporary refuge within one of the empty quarters. The rack had no mattress, multiple random stains scattered the walls, and the window showed the void of space and multiple other ships apart of the Captain's growing fleet. After setting his equipment up for the mission, ensuring his bayonet was properly fixed into its handle and would hold the blade firmly if someone got too close, and ensuring he had the right amount of ammo for the operation, he set the equipment down and sat upon a small stool situated in the corner of the room.

It was the time to get some rest.

For what seemed like the first time in forever, Kresslyn removed his mask and the wrap that encased it, ensuring his secrecy. Were there cameras in the room? That he didn't know. The thought slipped his mind, but why would it matter to some random pirate what he looked like? The only people he wanted to maintain secrecy with were that of his business partners, The Black Sun, and his adversaries, no one yet. Just as he was dozing away, the buzzing of the intercom alerted him, calling him to the bridge for some sort of briefing.

He only had about 30 minutes of rest, maybe 20 of sleep, but that would suffice. After he secured the bank and possibly even a ship, he would have all the time in the world to rest after training and the occasional deployments. Reaching down, he picked up the mask and attached it to the rest of his helmet, configuring his voice mod in an assertive tone. Perhaps if Kresslyn and the pirate became closer associates later, he would reveal his true voice and appearance. For now, however, that would remain undisclosed. Carefully, he grabbed the wraps that matched with the robes and armor and pulled them around his helmet. After doing so, he put his bayonet into its large sheath across his chest, attached his shield to his back, placed his silenced rifle in its respective holster, and clipped his saber pike to his side.

As he moved down the corridors of the ship, he passed multiple men, the pirates "marines" he assumed he'd be working with, looked at him and continued walking. From a brief evaluation, some of the men seemed eager. Some scared. Some worried if they'd return. Others were veterans in this type of operation.

When the doors of the bridge parted due to Kresslyn's presence, he felt something. The familiar feeling when a forcer was nearby. It might have been the Captain standing before him, evaluating a tactical display. Stepping forward and deeper into the bridge, Kresslyn took his place in front of the display and examined it briefly, waiting for the Captain to begin his explanation of the plan.

Bridge of the Marauder-class Corvette "Reborn"
The gentle beeping of the bridge rooms door being opened allowed Captain Gaki to glance back for a brief moment at the more armored figure that approached the room, giving a very brief nod as he knew it was all business. Allowing him to observe the bridge and his molty crew, he would keep staring forward as he did not fear the man on the bridge, at least, not on his own ship. As he got to the tactical display, he would move his fingers as part of the display changed before them as he started to explain the data before them. It would enlarge a tactical readout of the ship that was before them along with known vulnerabilities with the design.

"Greetings Mr. Cantor. Our mission is to secure the vessel known as the Durasteel Petal. She is a Hammerhead Corvette, Scout varient and apparently partly modified to hold a rather large cargo hold. Due to the unique nature of the objective, it would most likely be fitting if we can just obtain the vessel in question instead of hauling out all the cargo piece by piece while authorities bear down upon us. When it arrives, the Marauder will hold it in tractor while also blasting it with turbolaser fire to disable the ship. While this is going on, you along with twenty marines will board an ATR-Six Gamma Assault Shuttle known as Gamma One. You are to go on board and take over the corvette which we estimate has between ten to twenty personal. We will fend off any form of assault around your shuttle to your destination with our starfighter squadron on board known in fireteams Beta One, Two and Three. Once you reach the Durasteel Petal, it is up to you where you wish to board as our team is specialized in boarding operations so all you have to do is pick a spot on the vessel though preferably away from any form of turrets."

As this goes on, the diagram would shift several times as it would show the starfighter fireteams in different sections, escorting while showing percentage of odds of survival which were extremely high. As it would go on, there was a slow beep as Captain Gaki would glance back as he made a motion with his right hand as a countdown timer would commence for two minutes as he would go back onto explaining in better detail, abiet faster.

"Seems they are arriving so going to give a very brief way to take ships over. Once you are inside, you can either take the main bridge, the emergency bridge or the engineering room. Those are also the importance of each room to be taken, making engineering the last resort measure. Once you are in any of those rooms, my marines will do the proper procedures to ensure the ship is taken over. Now this last part is very important, should you need to do an emergency jump, make sure you turn off the hyperdrive safety...else you will not go anywhere in a ship that size for a short hop. Got it? Trust me, it is easier that way but...hold onto something when you do i-damn it already here! ALL HANDS MAN STATIONS! Mr. Cantor! You are now needed in the hanger bay!"

Near the end, the Durasteel Petal would exit out of hyperspace directly into their view, almost directly colliding with them as they sat just a bit to close. There was a general whine as he walked forward towards the view screen as the tractor beams would engage to attempt to hold it into place. The loud whir from the inside would circulate as there was a smirk across Captain Gakis face as he noticed the Durasteel Petal going the opposite direction as he looked over at his gunners nearby. They seemed worried as Captain Gaki would then glance back as he noticed it started to move further away as he spoke out loud.

"Why is it getting further away! Pull it back!"
"Sir, we aren't pulling it...it is pulling us!"

At that moment, the entire Marauder would lurch forward violently as people would slam into either the bulkheads or the nearby furniture, Gaki himself flying back into his own chair backwards. Giving a loud grumble, he turned to see the laser turrets blasting back towards the Marauder as it would smash against the shields and suddenly, the tractor beam would flucate as it would throttle the Marauder forward again. Gaki would start screaming out to increase power to the forward shields and just start opening fire onto the engines as the turbolasers roared out from inside, traveling outwards to the Hammerheads rear engines, the starfighters now coming into view as they had now MagPulse missiles which hopefully would due some good. Before the starfighters could even reach their destination, Captain Gaki would scream out as he was getting more irritated.

"Can anyone on this ship shoot straight?! Also why are we not hol-"

Then, as if a freak accident had occurred, a single turbolaser shot pierced through the shields and into one of the intakes of the main engines, going into the reactor room. The result was a massive explosion in front of the viewing screen and for those in the hanger bay, a nice eruption of red as the Marauder would then lurch backwards due to the now sudden and much more powerful holding pull as the whine for bracing for impact. Finally after several moments, the Reborn would settle itself as the Durasteel Petal was now sitting in space, held in by two different tractor beams with scars of battle from just the backside, almost no damage elsewhere. The intercomn would open up as he spoke rather briefly, almost as if a bit humbled but at the same time pained, not wanting to announce he was just thrown backwards over his own chair when that occurred.

"To the gentle being that made that shot, I owe you a case of beer. Gamma One, you are now clear to take off and engage with the enemy. Beta One, Two and Three, escort Gamma One out. Apparently the Durasteel Petal is also cycling a reactor, may take some time for anything to be charged up so pick your spot wisely Mr. Cantor."

The Intercomn would soon turn off as the crew around were almost giving themselves pats on the back, all but the marines as they still had a job to do and Captain Gaki himself, whom would watch the hyperdrive interceptor monitor for any form of oncoming traffic, hopefully being left alone for once.

Current OBJ: Get to the hangar bay, board the ship

As he listened carefully, Kresslyn crossed his arms in front of his chest. The plan was very intricate and well thought out, but most importantly, it was simple and flexible. A plan that was as flexible as this would allow him to perform as freely as he wanted to. As the Captain brought up certain target objectives within the ship, he took notes of what his job was and what the marines' jobs were. It was a good thing that he had so much backup in the form of an organized "military" unit behind him. He made no personal connections with any of the men so he wasn't obligated to protect any of them or rescue them in the event of capture, but he would try his best to steer them away from such a situation.

Their lives were crucial to the mission. They each had a job to do. So did he.

In the middle of the briefing, a horrible wailing sound interrupted the Captain as he spoke. Quickly looking up, Kresslyn saw the mammoth of a ship up close and personal. Things in space normally seemed smaller, but the Corvette was right upon them, looming over the viewport. As the Captain said he was needed in the hangar bay, Kresslyn was already on his way, priming weapons and establishing his combat HUD as need be. As he entered the hangar bay, he rushed towards the dropship only to be interrupted by a large explosion: a critical shot to the Durasteel Petal's engines. The shot was immediately felt as the Marauder's personnel stumbled in reaction to being released by the powerful tractor beam, slowly pulling away from the ship. When he entered the dropship, he quickly yelled out and introduced himself to all of the men on board.

"My name is Kresslyn Cantor. I will be working alongside all of you men in this mission. Hopefully, you will all return. There won't be many men on board our target. This should be a walk in the park for men of your caliber. Well, that's what the Black Sun bounty board said, at least. Prime your weapons, be ready for close quarters combat. I've been informed all of you are trained in what you need to do. Our first target will be the main bridge, our second will be the secondary bridge, and our final target will be the engines to disable the ship. Don't destroy anything beyond repair. I believe your captain has future plans with this ship."

As he spoke, he looked around and evaluated the men in the cabin, looked at the pilots as the peered back from their seats, looked behind him to ensure he saw all the faces of the men he'd be working alongside.

They were ready.

After concluding his speech, he stepped into the cabin and spoke to the pilots

"We will board through the docking port. It is closest to the bridge. I trust you two, get us there safe."

After giving everyone their instructions, he took a seat and strapped in, securing himself and his gear. The shuttle jerked into the air slowly and then quickly lurched forward as it headed towards the target, the escort fighters visible throughout the viewports. Battle surrounded them, the Marauder bombarding the durasteel petal to ensure a safe boarding. Then, the dropship stopped, having backed into the boarding port near the bridge. The marines and Kresslyn all simultaneously got up and waited for the light to turn green, indicating the door had connected to the docking door that would have to be blasted open.

*Bing*.

The sound echoed throughout, indicating it was time to begin. Kresslyn waved one of the marines forward and prepared to fire as he cut through the door. Slowly raising his comlink up, he made contact with [member="Captain Gaki"] in the bridge.

"We're breaching now, Captain. I'll make contact once again as we progress through objectives. Cantor out."

As the ATR-6 Gamma Assault Shuttle known as "Gamma One" would exit the hanger bay, it would be soon flanked by a squadron of starfighters, escorted as if they held the Emperor themselves. The flight was rather short also from Captain Gakis view as he looked over at his communications officer whom shook his head. There was no one coming, at least not yet and no communications was being posted throughout the system which was strange yet he took it as a good stroke of luck. Perhaps they were scrambling for power or perhaps they held something even more. He would not know as a Rodian would slowly walk onto the bridge, swaying back and forth as Captain Gaki would give a sideways glance as he smiled as the female rodian took her place beside him. They would both watch as she signaled towards the security officer as video feeds from various soldiers would open up as they would view the progress, even hearing the speech as she would give comment to it.

"He seems to know what he is doing...are you sure he can be trusted?"
"Only due to the Black Sun Contract Board...regardless, I have taken precautions and orders if he decides to turn on us Seleveen. I do not worry unless I must...right now, we need to hold up our end of the bargain."
"A week of laundry says a cruiser will drop on top of us."
"I would modify the bet...but your on."

Captain Gaki would glance to her with a bit of a wink, giving a small chuckle as she punched him in the ribs as it hurt as he coughed out a bit of a laughter, shaking his head as he may have learned his lesson...at least for now on implying a joke.

--------------------------------------------
Inside Gamma One, there would be twenty marines stationed before Cantor, most were of ragtag armor and weaponry but each one looked serious, some giving a different implication of it then others. Some checked their guns, others tugged at their armor and some checked through their power cells. The pilots up front were perhaps the most professional, having matching uniforms and were giving protocol signs as they approached the Durasteel Petal before them. The starfighters would diverge from their escort as they slowly got into position, the pilots agreeing with his orders as they slowly docked onto the docking port portion as the marines looked slightly worried at this action but trusted his judgement. When the comnlink activated as the door was being cut through, it went back towards the bridge.

--------------------------------------------
"Gamma One, this is Alpha One. Understood. We are looking at a crew of ten to twenty, up to your judgement what to do with all the crew. Skies are clear at the moment."

Location: Just breached the target ship
Objective: Head towards the main bridge and eliminate the crew
Equipment: Armor, Bayonet, VA-17s, Shield, Saber Pike

Having finally cut a hole through the boarding hatch, he held up his shield and readied his saber in the other hand. He and the marines were immediately met by a volley of blaster fire coming from about 3 or 4 men, some sort of rag tag security force that had been tossed together at the last second. The Durasteel Petal was surely not ready. Just as the Black Sun's bounty board said, this would be a walk in the park. Possibly even like taking candy from a baby. While he held his shield at the ready, he pushed forward as one of the marines followed suit behind him and took cover. Behind the two, the rest of the twenty marines suppressed the enemy to ensure a somewhat safe procedure. As he neared one of the hostiles around a corner, he activated his saber pike and jabbed it forward, stabbing his enemy in the chest from afar and immediately killing him.

With a sudden burst of speed as if he had been pushed forward, he lunged at the remaining 2 men and struck one with two quick jabs to the abdomen. As the last standing man tried to bash his shield and knock him off balance, he lost his cover and was exposed to twenty marines blaster fire, causing a brutal yet quick death. Having eliminated the first wave of security, there would be around fifteen remaining people aboard the ship. As he turned the corner to head towards the main bridge, he saw a clear hallway that led to a closed door. The crew had barricaded themselves in the bridge to make a last stand. After they took control of the main bridge here, the secondary bridge would have about five people there to defend. After that was taken, the engines would be free to take control of and the ship would be secured to be taken, as well as the cargo.

Rushing the marines forward, he barked a few commands through his voice modulator, setting the marines up in tactical positions.

"You! Get up here, plant the breaching charge and get back to cover." After that was done and the marine fell back to the proper cover, he continued to give out a strategic plan.

"Once the charge is set off, I will lead the initial push and draw their fire to my shield. You will all pick them off one by one and then I will push in and eliminate any survivors or those trying to get the drop on us. Then, we will inform your Captain that our first objective, the main bridge, is under our control. Let's get this done efficiently. Ready one."

As he finished the sentence, the marines replied accordingly with "Ready Two", "Ready Three", "Ready Four" and so on and so forth. As soon as the final marine replied with "Ready Twenty", the charge blasted the door open and exposed Kresslyn to yet another volley of blaster fire. This time, his shield would take a beating. Having underestimated the weaponry of the crew, he disabled his saber and unholstered his VA-17s, holding it in the small hole on the left side of his shield. Peeking over to see certain enemies, he fired from the hip and assisted the marines in slowly picking them off until the bright red of their blaster fire slowly came to a stop. After they stopped firing, he holstered his weapon and then grabbed his saber, activating it and quickly turning the corner to find one lone survivor, bashing him with his shield to knock him out.

"Take him. Tie him up and return him to the dropship. Have the pilots watch over him. You, contact your Captain and inform him that we've secured the main bridge. Now we will divide into two teams of ten. I will lead my team to the cargo hold and secure the cargo as well as sweep for any survivors trying to guard it. The other team will secure the secondary and tertiary objectives: the secondary bridge and the engine room. Take one survivor from each if there are any. After that, secure the ship and this battle is over."

After giving the order, he reached his comlink up to his face and contacted [member="Captain Gaki"]

"We've secured the first objective. A team of ten and I are going to secure the cargo hold while the other team secures the rest of the ship. How goes it in the space battle?"

Bridge of the Marauder-Corvette "Reborn"

It would remain quiet on the bridge, overlooking the now disabled Durasteel Petal before them. It would drift almost hauntenly quiet before them, as if telling them a scary story of an abandoned ship, lost in the nether reaches of time and space. As Seleveen leaned onto Gaki gently, he would glance to the side as minutes would go on by, patiently awaiting the results of Mr. Cantors progress. There would then be a radioed message as it was garbled, giving a bit of an answer as the main bridge was secure. Responding back through secure channels, he would give an update.

"Sky is still clear, I repeat sky is clea-"

There was then a whine from the hyperspace interceptor as it transmitted that small signatures were coming from hyperspace. In less than a few seconds later, several starfighters would exit from hyperspace and start making a b-line towards the nearby Durasteel Petal as their own starfighters would soon engage.

"Belay previous message, sky is littered with flies. Expect a moth soon, hurry it up!"

With the communications link closed, he ordered his Marauder-Corvette Reborn into position as the starfighters began to dogfight one another, several from each side flying rather close around the corvette. Trying to use it as natural cover, some would collide into the sides as a fireball would most likely screech right in front of Mr. Cantor near the secondary bridge as the fight was becoming violent in a hurry as Captain Gaki would activate several of the tractor beams, trying to get one of the fighters to pull them in and put them out of the fight.

Location: Moving to sweep cargo bay
Objective: Secure the entire ship
Equipment: The same

As the men divided up into their ten man teams, Kresslyn felt as if there had to be something else. More than twenty people on this ship. There was no way that there would be such a small, feeble security force for a ship carrying so much of a certain cargo. As he progressed through the halls with the surrounding pirates, there wasn't much trace of a human crew past here. There was no feeling. It felt as if there was something else... strange. As the doors of the cargo bay parted ways for him to enter the room, the extreme decrease in temperature hit him like a truck and definitely caught him off guard. The pirates assigned to him flooded into the room and inspected all of the nooks and crannies before they established a perimeter and secured the two exits; one of them leading to the engine room sector of the ship.

When the movement had finally settled, Kresslyn stepped forward to inspect the cargo that they had came to retrieve for the Black Sun. Completing this mission with no loose ends and the cargo intact would at least put them on the level of "associates" within the Crime Syndicate. Although this permitted access to higher level bounties, Kresslyn had already known that he would most likely not pursue a developed career in bounty hunting and only carry out odd jobs as they came to have a steady intake of credits. Sooner or later he would have to seek some sort of solace from the rest of society and hone in on his natural force abilities, but he still believed it was only a tool to be used for one's personal gain.

As he lifted the cover of one of the cargo crates, he smiled. The cargo was there, in this crate at least. One crate would do even if the rest of them were false. It would be the Black Sun's fault for having a bad informant, not his or the Captain's. When he finally finished inspecting the first crate, he waved a few of the pirates over to get a look of their own. While they got their own view and verified at least one of the crates was what they had come for, he stepped back and reached his arm up to this mouth to speak into the comlink with his currently distorted voice.

"Captain. We've reached the cargo bay. Multiple of the crates are real, however the remainder will require further thorough inspection. Once the ship is secure, what would you like us to proceed with now?"

The battle would wage onwards outside the Marauders view, starfighters dancing in front of them as the Tractor Beams of the Reborn would at times, catch one of the starfighters, landing to an easy kill as each one would be blasted out from existence each time. It was almost trivial how easy this was, as he looked towards the hyperspace interceptor logs as he could not detect any large readings heading their way. Everything was going according to plan as Seleveen would walk a bit closer to the viewport, staring out towards the Durasteel Petal.

"For once, everything seems to be going your way Captain. Perhaps Black Sun was right about this being merely a trivial matter."
"I will hold their word to it till this mission ends. We are very close to-"

At that moment, one of the enemy starfighters would get dangerously close to the viewport of the Reborn, almost as if in a collison course yet a turbolaser battery fired and it was destroyed within an instant. The shattered remains of metal would pelt the viewport as Gaki gave a bit of a groan, seeing a bit of smudged black all over it. Going a bit closer, he could see the remains of an old Starchaser as it floated in front of them along with remains of a species he did not want to describe in particular detail.

"And that will require at least an hour to clean. I am starting to get annoyed by these pilots who wish to show off in front of my ship!"
"They are just jealous of the size of the ship...and no twisting that joke."

They both gave a small chuckle as the last starfighter would be destroyed, spiraling out and scrapping onto the side of the Durasteel Petal before being destroyed, harmlessly gliding off the corvette. The tactical officer on the bridge would report that all enemy starfighter presence has been destroyed and that only one of their own starfighters was lost during the engagement. It was a pity one of their own was lost but such things were inevitable but thankfully, he ejected in time and was merely floating in space. One of the starfighters was getting close to at least hitch him a ridge back towards the hangerbay as Mr. Cantors report started to come through the main bridge. Captain Gaki would press into his chairs communication as he spoke out loud.

"Very good Mr. Cantor. Once the ship is properly secure, half of the marine squadron that remained will take over the ship and get it to our exfiltration point. While we can shuttle supplies back and forth, we are looking at a mighty fine time to get them all over. Takeover is still our best option, if you need be, I can send an additional squadron of reinforcements if you so wish to just start takeover operations while you sweep the rest of the ship."

[member="Kresslyn Cantor"]

Location: Cargo Bay, moving to sweep
Objective: Sweep the entire ship and begin the takeover process
Equipment: Same as before, minus armor

As Kresslyn sent out the last comms message to the Captain and inspected the rest of the cargo crates, he felt a sharp stinging in his thigh and abdomen but ignored it for the time being. When he finished inspecting the last crate and shut it, putting the tarp back over it, he finally looked down at his abdomen and thigh, exposing an already cauterized wound.

He had been blasted and the adrenaline muted it.

The pain set in very quickly, almost as if looking at it made it worse. If a blaster bolt had gotten through it, it was damaged and useless at this point. In addition to that, the first phase of the plan nicknamed the "tank" phase was over. To clear corners and all the nooks and crannies of the ship he'd have to be mobile, not just some sort of moving target. With that being said, he removed the outer layer of his armor head to toe, revealing his face and real voice, somewhat a rarity for him.

After he was done removing the equipment, he set it inside one of the crates and leaned against it for support. Finally, he raised his arm to his mouth and spoke in a different voice than before.

"Yes, reinforcements would be a great luxury. It would speed the process up. For now, I'll have the rest of your marines split into four five man teams and sweep as need be." struggling to get through the sentence as he winced through the pain, he put his arm down and shouted out to the men surrounding him.

"Split into four, five man teams and secure all the rooms you can throughout the ship. Reinforcements are on the way to help us take over."

It would be a long day getting all the supplies across but he'd have to deal with it and guard for counter offensives. For the most part, the operation was over and fairly easy.

"Understood Mr. Cantor, reinforcements are on route."

Turning off the communications, he would radio in Gamma Two to prepare for departure as the skies remained clear in front of the Reborn. After several minutes, the siren would briefly go off on a departure as the second ATR-6 Gamma Assault Shuttle would been launched. The starfighters would give it escort as it was rather tense to watch, knowing that reinforcements can arrive at any time but thankfully so far, nothing had occurred. The starfighters would break off after a few minutes, allowing Gamma Two to dock on an actual airlock as they spent time going through the proper procedure but once they were in, it was a different story.

The second group of Marines would disembark rather quickly, marching straight down through the hallway as they started to clear out the Durasteel Pedal as well as secure both bridges. Half of the second group would be separated into groups of five, working on the bridge systems as it would take some time as it was a bit more sophisticated than usual. One of them would get security camera feeds as they were linked to the helmets by proximity, allowing them to see sharp corners throughout the ship without issue. Almost till that point, the exchange of blaster fire was minimal, afterwards, it was a simple shot and move on as bodies would drop rather quickly in succession.

The one operating the main bridge would work on the controls, slicing straight into the main computer frame as it read out detailed statistics of weight of the cargo as well as transfer sequences. Very slowly, one could tell the rerouting of power through the engines and shields as the Durasteel Petal slowly took speed but at a very slow pace, only aiming to maneuver around for a hyperspace jump. As they turned, a sharp whine of denial was given as he yelled out over the communication for the maneuvering jets to be manually moved as it would take more time than expected to just turn a ship of this size.

[member="Kresslyn Cantor"]

It was all very downhill from here. There wasn't much to do besides sit aside and wait for the rest of the pirates to finish hotwiring the ship and sweeping it of any other people with a will to fight. So, with that being said, he just took a seat atop one of the crates full of product. They were sturdy enough to support his weight so it didn't budge when he sat down. Eventually, he crossed his legs and began to meditate, drowning out the sounds of the pirates shuffling throughout the room, sifting through crates, chatter from comms, etc..

Soon, he isolated himself from everything besides the ship itself.

...

...

Inhale.

Exhale.

...

"Hide.. get in this vent."

Someone else was there. He could feel their fear. He could feel them trembling in the shadows. He could feel that they were mischievous. That they were planning some sort of counter attack. The new teams on board wouldn't stand a chance unless he informed them. Should he break his meditation now and tell them? Or get more specific information? Heartbeats. He felt them shaking. He knew they were in the vents, but how many were there?

Suddenly, he broke the meditation and took off towards the docking area, running into a very dark room and igniting his saber for some sort of flashlight. Sure enough he saw an opened vent when he looked down, its lid set aside and discarded. Holding his arm close to his face, he spoke into his comlink.

"We've got survivors planning a counter attack. They're in the vents. Watch where you are." he said, disengaging his saber and crouching over the vent, waiting for one of the survivors to come back out.
