Colours in Time, a mission to Naboo.

NABOO
THEED STARPORT

The sun shone brightly in the morning sky as Talon stepped off the public transport shuttle. His simple navy grey pants and grey shirt were nearly as non descript as anything could be. His emerald eyes scanned the crowd as the people came and went, their foot servant to. He had come looking for a lead on the whereabouts of a certain criminal who had made trouble on Coruscant. He was just here to take a look around and gather some information. He normally would contact the local government but he didn't plan on being long enough to make it worth the trouble.

His customary bare feet padded on the duracrete as he stretched out in the force to feel the auras of those around. He would just have to move to the fountains in front of the starport and see if a spot of people watching doesn't turn something up.

@Nessarose deWinter

Nessarose stood at the entrance of the boutique, holding a stick of cotton candy in one of her hands. Workers were going back and forth as the designer she'd hired yelled at them, trying to find the balance between what a luxury boutiques was meant to look like, and what an 18 year old teenager whose favorite color was pink dictated that it ought to look like. Said balance was yet to actually be discovered though, and was currently giving off the result of a bunch of pissed off workers, and one designer who was quite terrified for her life.

Shrugging, Nessarose tore another piece of the sweet stuff and let it melt in her mouth before she turned around, overlooking the Naboonian street. She'd chosen to wear pink oversized short overalls that day, almost thinking she was going to have to do some of the work. It was clear now though that the adults she'd hired to do the job were too incompetent to even consider the idea, and she was enjoying the sunshine and the sweets too much to make a fuss about it just yet.

Stepping out, she tore another part of the cotton candy and ate it, her eyes looking at the people who were coming and going. In this light, no one could see that her eyes glowed, and for a change, it was an actual relief.

He had to admit he had not believed the tall tails regarding the Naboo. The architecture was indeed quite appealing and the people were as varied and interesting as any he had enjoyed meeting. The former Sith made his way toward a beautiful fountain and took a seat at the edge of the circular brim. The sunlight washed over him and he closed his eyes briefly to enjoy the warmth. As his emerald eyes opened he looked around for activity that might lead to his next step. The force was stirring that much he knew but why or where the cause was he couldn't say.

With in a matter of minutes his eyes feel on a little boutique that was obviously under renovation and a young woman stood out front in pink overalls. She was eating a dread substance for his kind but it was N9t something he could begrudge others for. She was a pretty thing for a mammal and after his recent stay under a torturers hands he couldn't ignore the appeal of a glance or two. After a few more minutes of searching the crowd maybe he would even say hello before investigating the city more deeply.

It felt like a forever before things finally quieted down in the boutique. Nessarose was still outside when it happened, still enjoying her candy until there was nothing left but a stick. Idly, she tossed it behind her shoulder and put her hands in her pockets, looking at her surroundings. She wasn't even entirely sure why she was here right now - after all, there were people that were hired to do this specific task. And no one was telling her what to do. So...

Nessarose shrugged and snapped her fingers. The spider-like sounds were heard much before the droid came into view; a tiny thing, with long legs, resembling much the spider that it had been modeled after. But this wasn't just any ordinary droid. The first droid Nessarose deWinter had ever crafted with the use of Sith Alchemy, and its entire purpose was one - provide with Sith Sorceress with an endless surpply of cotton candy.

Grinning from ear to ear, Nessarose took the new sweetly covered stick from the droid's claw, and pulled the first bite off of it. Now that her sweet tooth was somewhat satisfied, she could start mingle in the area and see if there was an actual reason she had to stay on the planet.

He wasn't watching her but when the droid appeared he couldn't help but look back in her direction. He was no expert but his years as a Sith and then as a disciple told him there was more to the droid than met the eye. The feeling of alchemical constructs was not something one forgot quickly. He stood as she began to walk into the crowd. His gut said call it in but his curiosity said to investigate first.

He calmly stood and drew his presence in on it's self. He would seem like any other force sensitive person unless someone probed deeply.

He put himself on a casual intercept course and moved with his usual confidence. She was pretty maybe he would just find a friendly conversation and some light flirting but no troubles for once.

She'd grown bored with just standing there. Left foot first, she left the steps of the boutique, and began to make her way into the crowd, followed by her little droid. Its claws were already working, knowing the will and the taste of its master rather well. And indeed, before she'd taken twenty steps, Nessarose already needed her next stick.

The childish and playful grin never left her face as she made her way, reaching the fountain with a quick and light step. Seating herself down, she motioned for the droid to take a seat beside her and take a break from making candy. She was soon going to want something more.

Moving her eyes to the people around her, her eyes almost seemed to sparkle. She had a feeling things were about to get interesting pretty soon. But what was better, was that she wasn't going to have to cause anything for that to happen. Closing her eyes, the teenager counted out loud. When she reached 10, her eyes opened, expecting to see whoever or whatever it was that was going to make today fun.

He watched he carefully as she made he way through the crowd. She was young still a teen it seemed although she body language said she had more than a little life experience. The person he had came for did not seem to be about so he decided why not kill the time while he made some light inquiries. His emerald eyes took in hers as she sat down at the fountain. He felt he could see a glow but in the sunshine he couldn't be sure.

As she closed he eyes he stepped forward and stopped just in front of her. His hands in his pockets and a friendly look on his face as he waited for her to open her eyes.

Her eyes opened to reveal eyes as green as his, only hers had a glimmer that was quite attractive and although he wasn't really here for that he would enjoy the scenery while he could.

"Hello." He said smiling at her with all off his charm, "that's a cute droid you have there."

Nessa bit her lower lip playfully as she eyed the guy who was standing right in front of her. She remembered how she first viewed those who had eyes as green as hers; since she hadn't been born with hers, but rather earned them with blood and sweat a couple of years prior to this sunny day, she'd always expected others with that color to be powerful people. Of course, she eventually learned that some people (her mother among them) had the color naturally, and that (unlike with her mother) it didn't always mean something.

"Thanks," she finally said, her voice sweet and bubbly, her hand petting the droid as though he was the most adorable kitten in existence, "I call him Booger. He had a brother but my cousin was the one who made him, so he got to keep him when all was said and done. Booger makes sweet candy floss by the order. Would you like some?"

Her smile was friendly and inviting, and she motioned for the person to sit next to her if he so wanted. Booger already brought his claws out, spinning two sticks now at the speed of light. She hadn't asked for his name - that usually came later. After all, today was a nice, sunny, and calm day.

What could possibly go wrong?

His eye squinted slightly as he gave a bright smile. Until mere months ago his emerald eyes had been the red and yellow of a Sith but it was rare then that he bothered to talk to anyone but his troops. His emerald eyes however had returned with time as he slowly stepped into his new life.

The little droid was treated like a favorite pet and acted the part well as she explained it's origin vaguely. He smiled again.

"Booger?" He said with his boyish grin "that's cute."

As a Zelosian he usually avoided sugar. The effects on his system were similar to alcohol for a human, but his people also didn't advertise their existence to everyone. With a smile and a nod he sat down. Beside the young woman and accepted the dessert. He would have to be very careful of end up drunk and at the mercy of anyone who wished to do with them what the chose.

"Thank you." He said warmly, "so do you live here on Naboo, or just visiting?"

Home, it'd been a year at least. He visited regularly, maintaining a bond with his family that was uncommon amongst Jedi. Last time he was here he'd introduced them to Marek and Devin, his twins. Well, one was his twin, the other a clone of the twin, but he was a brother to them. @[member="Talon Vosra"] wasn't the only one hunting criminals, the Sentinel was finally out Sentineling for the first time in a long time, and being home was just a nice addition. @[member="Nessarose deWinter"] should've been easy to pick up, with power like hers, but yet he couldn't pick up a thing. This left Gunderspn strolling down the street looking for suspicious activity and eleven more so, familiar faces.

Live on Naboo? "Goodness no," Nessarose chuckled as she turned on the foutain, making sure she was still facing the guy who was talking to her, "too many Gungans. It'd be a massacre." Which... Wasn't entirely true. The time she'd lived for several months on the planet were pretty much massacre-less because she avoided areas dense with those creatures at almost any cost.

"But my business advisor said I had to open up more shops and that here would be perfect, so we're trying it out. I have his soul in a jar, so if he's wrong he's going to die," she giggled. Her voice was light and playful, sweet and almost innocent. It could be nothing but the playful banter of a teenager, and many had fallen for it in the past. Some, however, had not. It was usually those who didn't that tended to stick around for longer.

"What about you?" she asked, taking another bite from her cotton candy, her face going sticky with the substance, her voice ever so sweet, and completely oblivious to others who might be currently on the hunt for girls like her. It was almost as if the two were just fans talking about My Little Ewokie, "it's not every day one finds a Sith Droid and acts all normally to it."

He thought not. His smile remained warm and friendly and his true emotions were not far from the same. He had really no reason for to dislike her at least not yet. He musical chuckle and bubbly demeanor were distracting but after his last stay with the Sith, a distraction wasn't so terrible.

He listened carefully ask she spoke her sweet voice almost childlike. She was clearly either very good or very innocent. Tye comment about a soul in a jar caught his attention and he filed it away for later if need be.

"Well in my opinion most business advisors should have their souls in a jar. Their more honest that way." He laughed alittle it was probably true people seldom had noble reasons for honesty in business and though he didn't really wish anyone harm, it would make them honest.

He took a very small piece of the sugary treat and put it in his mouth with a smile. He savored the little treat and decided while mentally on the topic of honesty we would follow his instinct.

"I'm an investigator." He said honestly. He had not been searching for sith droids just an arms dealer for gangs and the like. "I am just following a lead on a smuggler that may be here and enjoying the company of a pretty lady of course."

He paused to gage her reaponse. He doubted she would be interested in the smuggler or arms dealers but you never know. He looked at the droid and back up meeting her green eyes that most certainly shown in the proper light and dropped the next testing comment.

"And to tell you a secret. It's not the first or worst sith droid to share my company." He smiled again as he met her eyes directly. He would let the comment hang there and just ride the current the force would no doubt send his way.

As Talon Vosra and Nessarose deWinter discussed the wonders and alchemical applications of cotton candy whilst Cale Gunderson acted as a Kath Hound chasing down the scent of criminals, a solitary figure dressed in tatterdemalion stepped out of one of the many kiosks with a frown set upon his features So few credits for so many baubles… One would think that the last few I had dealt with were being dishonest, something to remedy... Glancing at his savings, he would scarcely have enough to purchase food at this point, let alone transport off world “Damn you Nixial for locking out your accounts…” With only a few more pieces left to sell, things were not looking good in terms of purchasing a flight off world.

Making his way towards what he deemed was the center of Theed’s market district, he quickly found himself a seat at one of the many outdoor establishments that catered to the discerning merchant in between their various dealings. Waiving off the serving person with a negligent hand gesture, he momentarily took in the fountain and those lounging amongst it only to pause as a cold chill slowly began to run down his spine Something isn't right here… Perhaps the scavengers have already arrived to glean what they can from my owner’s carcass… Slowly taking his time as he surveyed his surroundings, his concerned was masqued with what appeared to be a simple act of interest Let them think I am a simple country bumpkin coming to the great city of Theed to sell his wares; it's far better than the alternative. Whilst he had his talents, Azrakiel’s ability to reach out and sense the nature of others with the Force was woefully inadequate and while something had triggered his senses, he simply had no way of knowing or discerning the truth of it. Unfortunately, just as his precognitive abilities were wild and hap-hazard, so to was his ability to stifle his own Force Sensitivity; unless he utilized the Force driven stealth techniques that had been beaten into him as a child, any usage of the Force was essentially proclaiming him as a Dark Side practitioner without him even realizing it.

Ensuring that his back was indeed against the wall, a murmured request for water seemed to go unheeded by the passing server as minute by minute slowly ticked by Three separate avenues to launch an ambush, four egress points that can be used for escape… A quick application of strength and speed should see me through this… Even though he maintained a feigned look of indifference towards the outside world, a highly trained eye would easily recognize the faint signs of someone on high alert, which would alone would raise whatever alarms that Azrakiel’s abilities hadn't managed to evoke previously. Absently running a hand through his dirty blond locks, the tension seemed to mount and then slowly cease…

Lowering his hand towards the secured pouch upon his belt, a slow chill seemed to emanate from the artifact within If it weren't for it’s obvious worth to my previous owner, I would have left it within the ashes, but I have to be willing to risk all for my goals.. As the cooling bath of Dark Side energy from the artifact began to subdue and smother his own within a large circumference, a slow breath escaped his lips as he hoped others would assume it was someone more fitting causing the spiritual ruckus; he appeared to be just another tinker within the crowd after all…

She smiled again. If there was something Nessa enjoyed, it was when people treated her droid the same way she treated him. If it was any other person, they might have been noticing the slightly flirtacious conversation going on. For Nessa, however, it flew right over her head. It was just a nice convo, and she was just being herself, as alwasys.

His mention of smuggling interested her though. A smuggler. Her sister was one - Morgaine. Or at least, she was. Or was that a pirate? She wan't sure. But was he talking about Morgaine? Her sister had a single green eye (the other one was golden), and last Nessa heard about her, she was scouring the galaxy for poop. Nessa still wasn't entirely sure how that worked, but he was certain that in her sister's brain, this made perfectly sense. What else could you expect from a spice head?

"So where'd you find other Sith Droids?" she asked with interest. Her own knowledge had come from books - she'd never actually seen another Sith Droid, despite being raised in a pure Sith household. Her mother was completely against droids in general, so her dad kept most of them away. The only droids she was allowed to interact with were service droids, and they weren't that interesting.

Raising her nose for just a moment, the teenager sniffed the air. Another darkling was nearby. Smiling again, she lowered her face to where it had been a second ago. It was of no importance now. She would keep track of whatever it was that was going on.

Because one thing was for sure. This Naboonian day was not going to be boring.

"And don't worry about the smuggler," she added with another sweet smile, "they prefer my sister."

Talon could feel it the darkness creeping in the crowd. He had thought the droid or the girl as the source but now he could tell it was far more. He continued to smile as the young woman spoke and asked her question.

"Can you keep a very very big secret?" He asked trying to be boyish. "I know a lot of ...sith." his voice whispered the last word and he leaned back and looked at her

He raised his index finger to his lips and made a shhh face before his smile returned. It was true all true. His former Master was active with Sith alchemy and Talon had lived in the Sith Academy on Zoist.

"And I bet you get as much attention as your sister." He said kindly, "with such pretty eyes."

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Nessarose did not get the flirtatious part of the conversation. Well, she got it, but just... If someone had paused to ask her what the freck was going on, she would've described it as a playful, lighthearted, completely platonic conversation. Tact? Not for this queenie. Except during really specific kind of events, and then she tended to be several kinds of terrible at it.

"That's a really silly secret to have," she laughed, "I know a lot of Sith too, that's hardly a special thing, y'know?" stuffing some more sweet candy floss in her mouth, the teenager waited a moment to let the sugary rawrssomeness to melt.

"And no, Morgie gets more attention. She has one eye like mine, and one golden eye, and sometimes she likes to alternate between their blinking just to creep people out. She's super successful at it too. But anyway, why do you know other Sith? Most people either... Are, or, they don't want to and... Nope, I think you just used to hang with them. What made you stop?"

Talon felt the nagging need to ask her to come with him for further discussion but the potential for civilian casualties was too great for a fight and the young woman had done nothing directly to indicate she was dark in fact her aura seemed quite the opposite. Talon couldn't risk lives on suspicions and if she was dark and was masking her aura, then she may have been his match or more.

"Well I was a Sith not long ago." He whispeered, "I even led troops for the empire."

He let the comment hang there between them again her reaction would be another chance to assess the situation. He had hated the republic for the war while turning a blind eye to the imperial destruction of worlds. Then even after it he had turned himself in to the Jedi he had been given the chance for redemption. He had expected death, and rightfully so, but instead was given another chance. The meditaion in the midst of battle on O'reen had strengthened his eesolve. His would fight the darkness and stop it where he could. However, as he had already determined, he would not sacrifice lives to so it.

"I stopped because I no longer agreed with their direction for me." He kept his voice light an friendly. He would rather not have trouble but the droid and the presence of a darksider nearby said he would have to be wise. He needed to be sure and be patient.

"You know I am being rude telling you this." He smiled an apologetic smile. "I shoild introduce myself. Hi, my name's Talon. What's yours?"

@[member="Azrakiel"]

Call it intuition, call it paranoia, or even good old fashioned common sense but he wasn't safe here, that much was plain. If there was even the slightest chance of someone being Force Sensitive within the crowd then it was time for him to depart. Slowly rising from his seat as if to avoid suspicion from the masses, he very simply began to make his way passed the fountain where Talon and Nessarose were seated; his connection with the Force was far more visceral and physically based then what was typical and if he had indeed the basest of skills in sensing others, he would have perhaps sensed their presence and avoided them, but as it stood he simply strode passed.

Unaware of the waves of personal dark side energy that he was still exhibiting to the masses, he quite simply lifted his cowl to masque his features Fortunately for me, I did not utilize the Force or typical techniques when claiming my victim... It's time to leave this kriffing waste of space behind me I warrant. Moving with a natural gait as opposed to hurrying That's what they want, whoever they are, for me to give my position away. through the streets, a cautionary glance back both reassured him and potentially gave himself away to those with the acuity to see him as the potential cause of disturbance...

@Nessarose deWinter / @Talon Vosra

Ha. A Sith for the Empire. Nessarose's expression turned to somewhere that somehow managed to be both a sneer and a girly smile at the same time. Her opinions of the Empire had never been very positive. Her opinions of the current Sith that claimed to be leaders across the Galaxy was even less so. Then again, she scoffed at most of the big'uns out there.

But then again, she could see no reason to remove one's Sithiness just because of leaving the Empire. He might have changed directions because the Empire sucked, but that hardly meant he had to go and become a Jedi. Such a waste of talents.

"Talon," she repeated the name, allowing the taste of its pronunciation to linger in the air but for a moment.

As for the darkness that was moving... She could feel @[member="Azrakiel"]. But she couldn't quite say that she cared overly much about murders and kills. As long as her boutique was unharmed physically or in reputation (or income), it would take quite a bit to make her move.

Turning her attention back to the Jedi now, she leaned forward and kissed his cheek. The grin returned to her face as she held her hand out. "I'm Nessa," she said, "or Nessarose. But Nessa is just fine."
