Tatooine | Western Dune Sea

Walking along the top of a cliff A'Runda traveled alone at the edge of the Jundland Wastes. To the west was the Western Dune Sea that sprawled out farther then the eye could see, even from his elevated state. For the past two months the Force sensitive Tusken had pretty much become a desert hermit. Living a decent combination of off the land and traveling Jawa sand crawlers. One of the most notable times he came in some kind of contact was when he almost got ran over from a pod racer who was practicing. Getting rammed into a large pod engine would probably be an awful way to go he figured. But now he wouldn't forget where the Boonta Eve Classic was held. Making sure if he was gonna be around it to be extra vigilant.

However, during his lonesome hiking in the canyons of the Jundland Wastes he sensed something. A sort of disturbance in the Force of the planet. Like something was leeching off the already barren world. A'Runda always felt a good connection with the Force on Tatooine. Even more so then much more lush planets with a thousand times more life. Being on a planet with jungles and oceans kinda overwhelmed him. Like he'd grown too used to the spars life and energy on the planet. So when something abnormal could be detected in the very dry flow of the Force, his rather sensitive tuning to the planet's force energy picked up on it.

Turning to where he felt like the disturbance of sorts originated. A'Runds found himself looking out over the cliff he stood on and looking over the Western Dune Sea. Peering out over the sandy landscape through the red tinted lenses of his mask he didn't see anything. That meant that whatever was out there was farther off past the dunes in sight. Making up his mind he'd head in the direction of where he'd sensed the abnormality. Finding his way down the rocky land of the Jundland Wastes and into the finer sands Western Dune Sea. Alone he marched off, leaving a a thin trail of foot prints in the sand for the breeze to sweep up. But as he got closer a presence in the Force was easily becoming more and more apparent. Soon, the Tusken knew he wasn't alone out here.

Petra had forgotten what it was like on Tatooine. Preparedness went as far as protecting the skin from the sun since she wore jewelry only and knowing it could get hot. The major issue for her was the bare feet in the sand. It seemed harder to walk through compare to snow. The heat was nothing when walking was slowed down by sand, and it was not the fun sand on the beach.

After everything, the spell could be felt at her feet. A lovely on-going bonding session with the planet. Petra did this to every planet she set foot on. The felt of the force flowing through the planet felt good when channeled up through her bare feet. It was why she hated being on ships as their artificial energy felt so awful, fake, and abnormal. That was what drove her to do lots of travel at once then stay home for a long time.

Sand dune after dune can get one to focus inwards. Thoughts about plans in motion. Others that she needed to get rolling soon. Big plans that were going to take a year or longer to get to the end. That ended when an energy felt different. She was used to being alone as she walked back to civilization. So, another nearby made her snap out of her thoughts. She knew she was not close to any town yet.

Petra stopped in her tracks. Her eyes studied everything around her. While she did that, she was also focusing on the source. Her feet took her towards the source as she kept her eyes looking around. She was being a little over cautious because she was assuming the heat was finally getting to her and her mind was playing tricks. Of course, she believed that her mind was playing tricks as she saw a single Tusken. They did not travel alone, and that was what drove Petra believing there were more.

Walking over a decent amount of dunes A'Runda finally caught a glimpse of something other then sky and dune. It was a person, could they possibly be what drove the Tusken all they way out here? Could they be the abnormally in the Force that he was sensing. From the looks of it, whoever they were seemed to be moving in his direction. He lifted up his arm to give a wide wave in the air, acknowledging them and trying to show he wasn't hostile unlike many other Tuskens. However, when he got closer he stopped for a moment and slowly put his arm down. It was a women, and not just that, but they were in their birthday suit as far as he could tell. This certainly confused him.

Already A'Runda had mixed feelings, he'd never really seen someone naked before. Coming from a society and culture where showing any skin as highly offensive seeing something like this was rather jarring for the tusken. But after the initial shock he began to think a little more clearly. Whoever they were must being in distress. Being all the way out here without anything, even clothes. He didn't know how long she'd been out here like this, perhaps, hour, or even days. After thinking of that he quickened his pace to her.

With a light jog he was beginning to meet her half way between two dunes, right in the ridge. As A'Runda got closer to them he was able to better and more clearly see them. She wasn't 100% naked, only having some jewelry on her. His train of thought had him thinking that they must've been stripped and left for dead out here in the Western Dune Sea. But why would they leave her with jewelry. He was also able to see that she as rather attractive. Well from his understanding of what attractive meant. Not really having the most developed sense so he as going off of what instinct told him and it was letting him know that she was well above average. As he closed the distance he rummaged through his travel sack and pulled out some water, surely if she had been out here for a while she'd want that more then a Black Melon. Being only a couple meters from then now he reached up to offer his water to them. In Galactic Standard he spoke. "I imagine you could use some water. Take as much as you need... uh, Miss."

Couple of meters, it was not good enough for Petra. She closed the gap into being less than a foot. Poking the Tusken, if the heat was getting to her that would explain the Tusken speaking basic to her. However, there was really a Tusken in front of her. He spoke basic and was offering water. ’Now, what other oddities could come from this’ was the thought that came through her mind. Could it mean that he was really alone or was this an attack.

Petra took the water. Everything in reality needed to be questioned. Taking a sip, she nicely thanked him. Then she had to asked. “A tusken all alone and speaks basic… or is it that your bubbies are hiding and over the last seven hundreds, you guys managed to mask yourselves in the force?” Everything needed to be asked. Life and force loved to play with oddities.

After letter take the water he stepped back, taking notice of her behavior especially after being poked. Instinctively flinching slightly back from her poke. He listened to her question. Finding it quite reasonable given Tusken's group behavior. "Oh, no no I'm alone out here. You see, I don't really have a tribe anymore. W-Well I used to have one but I was banished. That's why I'm alone. I can understand if you're a bit per...per... c-confused with my language choice." Although his basic as very good for a Tusken, it was clear that there were some words that gave him some trouble. "I picked up the language early on in secret, but I won't bore you with the details." Looking around at the dunes that surrounded the two of them he shook his head. "So, no there aren't anymore Tuskens out here that I know of."

After that he looked away from her slightly. Even though she probably couldn't see his gaze through his mask's lenses, he still starred at the ground beside her. He figured it as the polite thing to do, never really encountering someone in such a bare state as her's. Which he still acted like this when encountering others who's skin was mostly reveled. "Are you uh... well um...okay? B-Being garbless and all?" It was quite clear the Tusken was nervous to bring up what he felt like was an elephant in the room. Even using the made up word 'garbless' to ask his question. He wasn't even sure if there was a word for being naked in his native language. So 'garbless' sounded right to him.
