Vatsu City
Ruusan, Teraab Sector

Red.png

Located in Silver Jedi space itself, on a planet that housed the famed Valley of the Jedi and at a city on the valley’s edge, Connor Harrison was tempting bait for the Jedi swimming around the system and the city itself. Landing out the outskirts without signalling his arrival, despite being hailed by the Ranger unit there, Connor had come directly South-East from Commenor to the planet.

His past was something of a legend to some old Silver Jedi sorts. It was his actions that had nearly led to the death of [member="Coci Heavenshield"] and him selling out old friends to the Sith. That old Connor would be embarrassing to the new one standing on the lip of the city.

There was no aim for bloodshed – at least not his own anyway – and he wasn’t here to hunt down anyone. He was here to see just how the Silver Jedi had progressed, how much of a power they were in the galaxy now after fleeing Voss, and just how stable they were in the war against Light and Dark.

Vatsu seemed to be a proud city, well-fortified and constructed that was almost like a fort itself to protect those inside and keep enemies out. Being so close to the Valley, that was just the purpose. Lowering his electrobinoculars, he nodded, ran his tongue over his bottom lip and packed them away in the hidden compartment of the external hull of his ship. It wouldn’t be far to go towards the city, and he was going to roll with what show the Silver Jedi had lined up, if they had one at all.

It was a brave and / or foolish move to return to the borders of an Order one had tried to destroy from the inside, but the curiosity and draw to his old Jedi heritage was too great to ignore. Time would tell if one day he could regain a footing and shape them to bring balance to the Force for the greater good.

The valley of the Jedi was, it had always been a place of peace and tranquillity, a place where you could go to find yourself, to focus and meditate, at least that's what the master's and books had said. The truth, if she was brutally honest with herself, which the young woman tried to be, at least in the privacy of her head, that was something she needed. Ever since everything that had happened to her, the almost effortless connection she'd had with the living force had seemed to fluctuate. It's not that the force had pulled away from her, her connection to the force was any less but there was something else, some difference in the way she connected with the world around her. The nature she had once revelled in seemed more distant, the sounds of the wind the smell of the grass and animals, even the feel of the dirt beneath your toes, it all seemed less a part of her than it used to be...although, that could be because she wasn't really able to wander around barefoot all the time anymore.

The young Padawan glared down at her offending feet as if, by sheer force of will she could force her body to adapt, to accept the way she wanted things to be. Only...things didn't quite work like that, you could do a lot of things with the force, a lot of things with sheer willpower, but making the soft soles of your feet walk over twigs and stones wasn't one of them. So shoes it was, at least most of the time, but out here, in the middle of the valley, you could find just the right spot, a stone out in the sun near to Vatsu outpost was a great place to get away from the rest of the Jedi. A chance to try to meditate, and failing that at least get away to have some time to herself, to clear her mind. If only she could get rid of that familiar niggling feeling in the back of her head. If only she could put her finger on just what it was, just what it meant then maybe she could relax and enjoy her break...but that seemed to be just a dream right now, she'd just have to take the enjoyment in the sun where she could even if there was just something that seemed to be screaming for her attention just out of reach.
