BIOGRAPHY: Being born a D'Lessio, Alleen was brought up scavenging and tinkering with various devices on untold worlds. As the young boy picked through the wreckage of long forgotten starfighters he would look to the sky and dream of flying among the stars on his own. Being the oldest of the D'Lessio children he always felt a duty to protect and care for his younger siblings. which he did to the best of his abilities, particularly in the case of his youngest sister. Despite this, the stars continued to call. His parents envisioned a different fate for him. As he grew he continued to express an interest in leaving the family scavenging business, which he'd been groomed for since birth, and joining the elite Rogue Squadron of the Republic Navy's Starfighter Squadron's. After constant arguing and a final decision to leave at the minimun enlistment age for the Starfighter Program (19) Alleen left his family for Coruscant and quickly enlisted in the Starfighter Training Program.
His aptitude scores were far above the minimum requirements and below only those who'd previously had flight training and were more than a few years his senior. Given his background the testers assumed he was cheating and administered the test two more times under controlled conditions before accepting the scores as valid. Because of those scores, Alleen was placed in the prestigious 1st Starfighter division, where he distinguished himself as not only an excellent pilot and strategist, but as a leader. Most of this was a result of leading his siblings through potentially dangerous ruins to get hard to reach scrap. It forged him as a carrying and efficient leader early on, and he treated his fellow pilot's as if they were his siblings.
After over a decade of service in every position in a squadron one could imagine, Alleen was shot down on his thirtieth birthday, nearly crippling him in one leg and leaving a long scar from the back of his head to the bottom of his foot. The crash changed his life forever. He is now forced to take various prescriptions to simply function on a normal level. He despises it like the plague but refuses to give himself implants which would make his life much easier.
After years of recovery, mostly due to his resistance to cybernetic implants, Alleen was returned to active duty under a different field. Though he'd been deemed unfit to fly his mind was still considered valuable enough for the Republic to place him in Naval Intelligence. Alleen flourished there. The position allowed him to fully utilize his creative abilities and strategic potential, crafting elaborate tactical maneuvers for the Republic. He still serves there in conjunction with other branches, helping the Republic with his mind if not his body.
Every year on his birthday Alleen treats himself to a holo movie, often of a deeply philosophical nature. He is unmarried and has no children.
