Black is a meticulous thinker, a fanatic subscriber to the school of supreme logic and deduction. His mind works like a computer; it deconstructs situations and then reconstructs them in matter of minutes allowing him to see the full picture, thus allowing him to develop a counter action or solution rather quickly. Some attribute this skill to some training he had back in his mysterious past.

Black having in his past been a spy, spy-master and a once a mercenary operative- holds a wealth of knowledge in the arts of subterfuge, sabotage and assassination. With this knowledge he has come to do business with practically everyone, during his times as a mercenary for hire.

Due to some event in the past Black has to constantly wear a breathing device. There is also a breathing device installed into his throat. For food and drink, his mask comes with a fluid processor that extends a syringe from his mask to suck up the drink. For food there is an internal device on his person that injects proteins and substances to substitute for food, although sometimes he can detach the bottom of the mask to reveal his mouth.

During his mercenary years he helped many terrorist plots and assassinations. Black has no qualms for who he is hired. Due to this laissez faire attitude with employment, he has been put on the black list in the Omega Protectorate. But Black being the devious man he is, his appearance and name change from employer to employer. So travelling in the OP doesn’t pose too much of a problem (yet).

BIOGRAPHY:
Commander Black (a name he has concocted for himself, seeing his real name has been lost) is perhaps one of the CIS' most mysterious members. He is often sometimes referred to as "Urnsor'is" He has gone throughout his life under many names, all aliases and in different appearances- so many in fact he has to now wear a mask to help him breathe. A result of too many face altering operations. The mask also acts as a voice manipulator- along with the breathing device installed in his throat.
In all senses of the word he is a phantom of a commander. But rumours persist, some even being considered fact. What is said of him, is that he once began his work as an Imperial Agent, a master of networks and covert death. But, for some reason or another he vanished. Intelligence has it that he re-appeared in the Republic as a minor military operative, helping the republic counter the Sith Empire's operations and ambitions. How noble you would say? Hardly. Black is someone who lives off of problems and circumstance, he needs something to keep himself busy- or else he gets...bored.
After a while at the Republic he decided he'd leave and act as a wandering mercenary. He did most of his work there, as a spy-master and manipulator. Helping funnel money, goods into territories, terrorist acts, subterfuge, kidnapping and laundering...anything really. One of his most notorious doings was helping a band of pirates raid a Omega Pyre (as it used to be called in his day) trading fleet. The cargo ships were ambushed and raided. Then of course, Black got greedy and then had the pirate gang lead into a trap themselves. Black would take the stolen goods and money, as for the pirate gang they were wiped out by a rather "well-timed intervention" by Republic patrolling fleet. In anycase, such an act placed him in the OP's "Ass-Kicking List". But, by then Black had changed his appearance and name- wandered off once more.
Of course these are all rumours which now are considered a part of his "Biography", or what little there actually is of it. Black is a wandering chaos who extends his services for the exchange of something fun and interesting to do. For some time after he wandered about doing small jobs here and there.
That is until he came across the CIS, a cause he finds suitable to his rebel attitudes.
