Kay-Larr
Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay stood in the middle of the hidden Sanctuary of the Elders. Outside of the Sith Lord that abducted her years ago, she was the only person that knew of it's location and how to get to it. The Elders used to rule Commenor, guiding the elected leaders of the planet much like other democratic monarcy societies. But that ended here with their deaths, a dark secret that she kept to herself. As far as anyone was aware, they had died of old age. In some ways that was true. But it wasn't the whole story.
Now she stood there with a bundle in her arms, listening to the vast silence that accompanied the abandoned sanctuary. It made her feel so very small. And she was. Her place in the Galaxy could easily be wiped out and forgotten. She knew that well enough, which was partly why she didn't stick her nose in the Galaxy's problems. It would only doom all those that were under her care.
Her steps were soft while she approached the three thrones on the top of the steps. When [member="Veiere Arenais"] crafted her light armour with a personal cloaking device, he had ensured that her boots wouldn't give away her location. And she had certainly used that suit today, to be overly sure that no one was aware of her location. Kay even took off her wedding rings and left them in Olivia's care, so that even her husband would have a hard time finding her.
With the bundle tucked under one of her arms, she reached out and touched the arm of each of the thrones. This was where she was supposed to go after the Elders had died. Maybe in time it would become her home. But not yet. Kay stepped around to the back of the throne on the right and knelt down. She set aside the bundle and then with the aid of a dagger, lifted up the stone from underneath and dug out a metal pole, using it to support the stone and keep it upright for her. Then she brought out the other object from inside; Veiere's holocron. He gave it to her before the twins were born and as soon as she could, she brought it here for safekeeping. Carefully she set it aside and then grabbed the bundle that she had brought with her, unravelling it partly. Inside was a set of Veiere's robes, as well as his crown. He wasn't going to be needing them anymore...
Earlier in the day, Kay had sent off a message to her Ministers [member="Darlyn Excron"] , [member="Darben Skirae"] , [member="Amelia Sorenn-Syrush"] and [member="Silfe Sosuri"] which read:
~Dear Ministers of the CSA,
By now you may of heard rumour of my husband's resignation as High King. It is true. He will now be referred to as the Royal Consort, or Veiere Arenais. As such, all of his responsibilities and entitlements are revoked from this day forward. He has no ability to govern, no ability to take command of our forces. His rights are now no different than the average citizen.
Keep in mind this is not the end of our marriage. He is still my husband. He just no longer represents our government. Prince [member="Bradshaw Ku"] would be next in line should something happen to me. The twins are on their own journeys, so the responsibilities of ruling the CSA would only fall to them should they so choose.
Lady Kay Arenais~
That message was sent off just before she made this little journey. Kay didn't want to hear any backlash from it or be hounded with questions as to why. She just needed to escape.
Carefully she placed the holocron into the bundle, wrapping all of the contents securely before setting them inside her hiding spot, before holding the stone, removing the pole and tucking it inside as well. Then she released the stone, letting it fall into place. Kay sighed as she got to her feet, brushing off some bits of dirt from her hands. "Take care of them for me..." And without another word, she activated her personal cloaking device and began her journey back towards Chasin City and the Royal Palace. There was much needed tea waiting for her there.
