In the wake of the old First Order's shadowy reign and the formation of the Dosuunian Commonwealth of Nations, a new era dawned for intelligence and security within the galaxy. Rising from the ashes of the infamous First Order Security Bureau (FOSB), the Commonwealth Intelligence Directorate (CID) emerged as a beacon of hope amidst the remnants of fear and tyranny.

The Reign of Fear (840s-860s ABY): During the tumultuous years of the 840s ABY, the galaxy quaked under the grip of the First Order Security Bureau. The FOSB, with its ruthless methods and far-reaching influence, struck fear into the hearts of countless star systems. Operating as the intelligence arm of the First Order, it orchestrated espionage, sabotage, and surveillance, cementing the First Order's grip on power. However, as the First Order's dominance began to wane in the mid-860s ABY, the FOSB slipped back into the shadows.

The Birth of the Commonwealth Intelligence Directorate (880s ABY): With the First Order gone, the Dosuunian Commonwealth of Nations began to emerge as a symbol of unity and freedom in the region. As the Commonwealth rose, so did the need for an intelligence agency that could safeguard its ideals and protect its citizens. In the early 880s ABY, former agents, analysts, and strategists from the FOSB came together with a common purpose: to ensure that the atrocities of the past were never repeated. Thus, the Commonwealth Intelligence Directorate (CID) was born.

A New Dawn (880s-900 ABY): Under the leadership of experienced operatives and visionary leaders, the CID underwent a transformation. Drawing upon the lessons of the past and the ideals of the Commonwealth, the agency redefined its mission. Officially, assets belonging to the FOSB have been or are in the process of being dismantled. Unofficially that couldn't be farther from the truth. Yes, assets are destroyed but not before they are painstakingly recorded and recreated later.

Legacy of Vigilance (900 ABY and Beyond): By 900 ABY, the CID had solidified its reputation as a skilled and principled intelligence agency. While the scars of the FOSB's reign still lingered in the collective memory of the galaxy, the CID stood as a testament to the triumph of justice and resilience. With eyes that penetrated the darkest corners of the galaxy, CID agents continued their vigilance, upholding the values of the Dosuunian Commonwealth and safeguarding its citizens from the shadows that once threatened to engulf them. As the Dosuunian Commonwealth of Nations flourished, the CID remained ever watchful, ensuring that the lessons of the past were never forgotten, and that the Commonwealth's future remained bright, secure, and free.
