Iron Giant

Intent: The intent of this droid, is to provide an NPC companion for Iron Giant. It is to help further translate what Iron Giant is saying, from speaking in full basic after referencing her meaning in the ordinary translation or her suit. It is also to provide Iron Giant something to play with, by the form of ramming it with her tusks across her ship, which helps with her degrading combat prowess in her natural environment.

Description: (most of this hasn't been roleplayed out yet.) This small little orange droid was made out the surplus supply's that Iron Giant had on board, with the help of fleet members she was able to make herself a droid that would keep her company in the long voyages that would come in the future. Probably the most difficult part of making COMO was the programming, as everything else was pretty straight forward. However though, with the unique needs of Iron Giant, differing programs were needed to be meshed together to have a truly functioning droid for Iron Giants use. Though Iron Giant had named it the Companion Orb, as she did not see the value of its (artificial) sentience as something more than a simple play thing. But for relatively unknown reasons, it preferred C.O.M.O., as Mark One of the Companion Orbs. Iron Giant was sufficiently impressed by the droid requesting a name, that she added its name into her translator.
Classification: COMO is a unique Class Three droid, providing parts of all Class Three functions, of Protocol (minimal), Servant, Tutor (to Iron Giant), and Child Care (as Iron Giant can be childish and requires something to keep her entertained).

Armaments: Though it is used for communicating to Iron Giant in water ordinarily, COMO could potentially use his Resu Translator as a weapon against aliens.
