[Carn Dista]

So I've decided that I'm only going to rp Carn being in one place, at one time. If there's multiple threads for him, then they're all going to be on the same planet, and he won't be leaving until those threads are over. This is because planets are huuuuge things, and I also want to create a very strong sense of continuity - over time in the threads you'll be able to chart his path through the Galaxy, which is a cool thing imo.


However, to do this I'll need your help, Chaos! If you think there's a valid reason for your character to be on the same world as Carn, and roughly in the same place at the same time, then tag me regardless of what the roleplay is and I promise I'll drop a reply. I'm literally open to any roleplay threads, as long as they're on the same world Carn is on. After all, diversity is the spice of life and I figure the life of a Jedi must be pretty damn diverse. Hell, if anyone else likes this idea then maybe Carn can pick up a travelling companion or apprentice along the way.

Yeahh! It just helps me keep track of the character/makes for a bit more realism rather than being in 9 different places at once like some kind of bearded timelord.

I've pondered the same thing myself. Generally I try to keep my characters in the same general region of the galaxy so far as new threads go, or have a rationale for why I'm going over this way or that, and often RP that out.

I tried to do that before, but I ended up absolutely everywhere - I'm really bad at just sticking to one general area. By being strict on myself and keeping to strictly one planet at a time, I'm definitely not going to out pace myself or suddenly show up somewhere strange, lol.
