Conflict of Interest

From the ground of the planet Felucia anyone looking up could see the flaming body of a ship entering the planets atmosphere at a break neck speed. IT wasn't completely out of control however, as inside there was a struggle aboard the ship. From the outside the thrusters tried to slow the ship to be rewarded with only a slight decrease in speed and a handful of seconds later the sound of a bone jarring collision could be heard and felt across the land as the ship crashed into the planet.

Aboard that ship was the Ruferalahuin Lucius. He was supposed to be on a trip to the outer rim planets looking for a place to represent in the senate or to at least get a good foothold in the realm of politics. Yet it seems that no matter how hard he worked or how many promises he made he always had enemies. The transport he had paid to carry him to the outer rim had instead been a ship captained by a pirate who saw great wealth in holding a upcoming politician for ransom. However it didn't turn out like that. Lucius had been locked away in one of the backrooms of the ship but using his miniscule knowledge of pyrokinesis he burned the pad causing it to malfunction and open the door. Then taking his chance he had wrestled with the pilot. The two rolling all across the floor punches and kicks flying in all directions. Each fighting for leverage over the other yet neither paying attention to the ship. The pirate dealt a heavy blow to the side of Lucius' head causing him to fall unconscious, but by the time the pilot reached the seat and tried to stop the collision it was to late.

Awaking on the ship Lucius felt a tense pain shooting through his right shoulder and neck. Reaching up he rubbed it, and coughed on the black smoke that was circling around him and clogging his lungs. A long stream of bright red blood fell down his peach skin blemishing the side of his face as he stood. His chest beat at a tempo faster than any song as he made his way to the exit. His eyes began to water as the smoke stung them causing his vision to become blurry as he tripped over the body of the pirate that had tried to hold him hostage. It wasn't Lucius' first time seeing a corpse and he was sure it wouldn't be his last but the sight still unsettled him deep down and caused a sense of revulsion. It was just a waste. None of this had to happen, but it had and there was nothing Lucius could do to change it.

Turning away from the corpse Lucius finally arrived at the exit and after clicking on a button built into the wall the door slid open revealing to him a forest that not even his homeworld could compete with. Multiple types of fungi grew out of the ground. Some even taller than buildings. Bugs of all different sizes flew overhead, and Lucius couldn't help but admire the sights. The sounds of the forest barraged his ears and caused them as well as his tail to perk up. From not to far away a loud screeching sound could be heard causing Lucius' heart to fly into his throat as he heard something coming his way.

Without a second thought Lucius ran in the opposite direction. Once a wannabe politician, and now he was nothing but a appetizer for whatever was hunting him. Running through the forest Lucius relied on the dexerity that his race offered to help him dodge around trees and jump over limbs that reached out to trip him. Though his chest began to hurt from how much smoke he had breathed in and he was racked with a fit of coughing that brought him to his knees beside a small stream. In the water he could see his own reflection staring at him. His yellow eyes filled with fear and his long hair looking as though he had been shocked by lightning. The screech came once again causing Lucius to freeze and look over his shoulder. He knew he couldn't escape the creature on foot. So taking the chance he had been offered he jumped into the stream.

Sochi felt the shudder within the force. Then this was felt and heard by an explosion off into the distance. She was approached by Felucian scouts who relayed the information to her. It would seem a ship has crash landed just some miles away from their village. This was something that she couldn't allow, she had already been visited by assassins, and imperial knights trying to kill her, and harm her people. She was still retraining the shamans on how to fight the darkside, if she were to be killed, or taken away, some of the tribesmen might slowly slip back towards the darkness. She was an anchor for them at the moment.

Sochi mobilized the scouts, and she decided to be the one to lead the search for any survivors; friend or foe. Then there was the wreckage, surely a fire would damage the ecosystem of the planet. They took off into the forest, a band of six including herself, they moved at a good pace, the smoke becoming closer and closer with every step. She reached out with her senses, their was no lives to be rescued, until she felt the sudden movement of another life form, very faint, but there. This happened almost simultaneously when the screeching of an wild Acklay vibrated throughout the jungle,

The jungle was just a dangerous, one could go mad living amongst the constant shift in balance of the force, or if they were unfortunate, they would become the food of the local fauna. Sochi had adapted, and learn the way around things, she was fearful of anything on this planet, this could be possibly due to her Jedi training. She took off after the life form she sensed. If they had crashed, surely they were I'll prepared or injured. She could offer her assistance.

The water was ice cold as Lucius submerged himself into it. The deep murky water made it almost impossible to see even a foot in front of himself, but he steeled himself as he let the stream carry him away. Most politicians weren't accustomed to surviving on their own, but Lucius was different, He had grew up in a rough harsh land, and he knew his way around when it came to survival. Popping his head out of the water a few seconds later he saw he had already been carried a good distance from where he had just been. Though the speed and strength at which the stream flowed was to powerful for Lucius to make it back to the shore. He tried in vain as his muscles burned.

His shirt had been ripped free of his body during his run through the forest leaving him with nothing but his blue pants. which absorbed water and had begun to weigh him down. In the middle of the stream was a large fallen tree. Reaching out on his way past Lucius clung to a branch from the tree which almost instantly broke, but he reacted fast enough to clasp onto the next limb which was a bit thicker. Even though he had a good sense of smell Lucius could smell nothing but fungi and smoke. He had no clue what was hunting him or maybe it had just given up. Yet Lucius' luck did not prevail as the green creature burst forth from the forest almost like a beast of legend. It's loud screech was loud enough to make Lucius' ears twith and cause him a headache, but it may have been because his higher than adverage hearing. It was like the creature was walking on stilts. It's mouth hung open thick streams of saliva falling out and landing on the ground beneath it. The creature slowly began to walk into the stream barely effected by the force with which it flowed. Lucius wanted to yell for help but the way he was raised would not allow him. Pulling himself up and onto the limb he perched himself facing the creature. "Well I guess is what my dad always talked about. To live and die on the same day." Lucius quoted as his claws extended from his fingertips and he squatted low. He knew he didn't stand a chance against the creature but the least he could do was give it a minor injury.

Then the beast would halt its advancements, and come to just a stare of the humanoid it planned on eating. From just a few feet away one could see a Togruta Jedi with her hand out. The woman adorns a cream backless top with a deep V-front (that shows her both bare back and shoulders) and brown straps around her midriff that seem to accentuate her chest and bellybutton. She has a light brown loincloth and homemade bikini bottom. She also sports a bit of gray cloth wrapped around her feet (that shows both her bare toes and heels) and most of it around both leg calves (that shows her right knee) and left forearm (with a couple silver spikes on it). Brown straps she's tied around her lekku and montrals that almost reach the ground behind her.

Sochi was using her skills in Animal friendship to grab a hold of the beast, and calm it, then the Acklay went off into the stream. They were amphibious creatures. Sending the creature away, she took acouple of steps forward. She could sense the force within this one. She squinted her eyes to signify her wonder of his arrival and current nature. "Who are you? And what happened in that fallen ship? Are you here to capture or kill me?" She said softly, yet sternly. She wasn't sure of whether he was a sith or not.

Lucius calmed himself as he stood there watching the creature waiting for his opportune moment, but it never came. Something better happened though. The creature came to a halt before him before leaving and heading back into the water. Standing there and standing Lucius had a somewhat confused look on his face, just a few seconds ago the creature had wanted to make him a meal. A second later a scent floated to him and the sound of footsteps could be heard. Turning and looking in the direction he saw a Togruta, and as she bombarded him with questions he decided it was best to answer her. He was of course stranded on a planet with everything out to kill him.

Jumping onto land Lucius stood before the Togruta, and upon close observation it was possible to see that it wasn't his skin that was peach but thin fur. "I am Lucius Scipio, and no I mean you or no one here any harm. I am nothing more than a aspiring politician that was almost captured by a greedy pirate, who is now dead upon that ship." Lucius said nodding to where the cloud of smoke could be seen. "Now if you don't mind me asking who are you and where am I?"

She couldn't sense any hostility from him, he was more confused than anything. Upon investigation it seemed like he was a captive, and from fighting they crash landed here. Hmm she believed him. She relaxed her face, her eyes returning back to their normal position. She stood still, with her arms to her side. She would answer his question, only because he hadnt any idea of where he was, or who she was. That got rid of the idea that he was an assassin.

"I'm Sochi Ru, and this is Felucia. You landed to close to our village, and it was because of this reason that we came to investigate." She said softly, yet sternly. "You must come, or you'll find that you will easily become dinner for many fauna here." She said motioning for him to come. She could in fact feel his connection to the force, and with training he could be a capable force user, but for him to land here has a possibility of being highly dangerous with the constant shift in the force.
