Congratulations to Our Dominion Contest Winners!

I would like to congratulate our three winners of the Event Dominion Contest that I announced earlier this month! These players have exhibited excellent writing commitment, teamwork, and team spirit throughout the dominion campaign, and I think they should be rewarded for their hard work.

I've tried to provide proper rewards from what I have the authority to give, though some may simply get a round of applause if they have no need for what little I can offer.

In any case, thank you, Republic, for playing with us! It's been so amazing to see all you guys working to bring this faction back to glory days!

This guy totally owned the event with his amazing tenacity and team spirit! He chugged through the dominions with us and even went to hell and back to help out our fellow Republic players who sadly got 'taken' at the beginning of the event.

Uri has politely refused any rewards, since he believes that he needs no gifts as a humble Jedi.

Way to go, Uri!


Second Prize: [member="Orick T'ane"]
Orick just showed up one day to smuggle us some goodies and help our reconstruction of Manaan. Since then, he has become such a great asset to the Republic in our campaign and even decided to quit his day job and join the glorious Galactic Republic Navy!

I would like to present Orick with one ECHO DED-3 and one Copycat: Kaleido starship component, if he would be willing to accept.

This one came as a surprise to me at first. I was not aware of how active she was in the Republic. But she sure stepped up (and with another character, too) to help us out, and there is no doubt that she deserves a mention!

(I'm not even sure what might be useful to you... I can't find your bio! ) Anyway, I have a rather unique piece of extremely lightweight healing armor that is made to fit under things like cloaks and robes, if you're interested. We can work something out if that doesn't suit you, though.

Note before I keep stuttering: Rin's original bio was lost in the horrific crash of that one day. A partial version of it was recovered via cache or something, and can be found here. It's really out of date though. I need to redo it.

I didn't know the contest was a thing?... And for some reason I didn't get this mention? I was just browsing through the Republic, seeing if any interesting news had popped up, and was like "There was a contest? I wonder who won..." and now I am here. Am I even supposed to be responding to this?... Forgive me if I'm not. I'm to busy going "WAIT WHUT" to think straight at the moment.
Then again, I always have trouble thinking straight. This has been today's second segment of "Shut up, Nyx!" Tune in tomorrow for even more WTH moments.

Um... I think I had something else I was gonna say?... Gimme a sec... Oh, yes! I'm, if you couldn't tell, mildly surprised by this. Didn't really think I was working harder than any of the other people (everyone I saw did absolutely great! It was so much fun to see). And towards the end 95% was my alt (as you mentioned), [member="Drapeam Nyx"]. If I was going to get a reward (this is a thing that happens?...) then I'd probably give it to Nyx. She did some actual work, while, for the most part, Rin kind of just decided she was going to rescue a baby from literal Hell. And then ran out of time to do it. Oops. Uh, there was another thing I think... oh dear...

This is what happens when I get complimented/praised/things when I'm tired.

Like, eighth note: You didn't know I was active because before the event I wasn't. Not in the Republic, at least. Rin had kind of faded to the back while Nyx was focused on 1-on-1 threads, the Protectorate, and making signatures for people. Kind of popped back into existence at the perfect time, I guess.

Congrats to both of you! I didn't even realize there was a contest for this until I was told that I had won. If my posts are good it's only because I am trying to keep up with the rest of you folks. I think I have spent more time rewriting post than anything else. I have had a great time with you guys since I wandered into your dominions.

I think perhaps I can find a use for the very awesome items. They would sure help with my smug.... I mean my new and respectable job.

Sweet! I think I'll be using it for the Sith Crusades thing. Nyx has been in need of a lighter armor for awhile. She's been stuck with a heavy suit made stronger people (well, she's strong, but she's meant to be flexible and fast).
