Above O'reen, the Isolation-class Star Destroyer Defiance suddenly appeared, flanked by a frigate and two corvettes. Normally the vessel would not have traveled with such a contingent, but the Empress herself was aboard the vessel and that necessitated extra caution. Aeth left sich decisions in the hands of her military commanders. Each had their position at her will and because she trusted them to manage things on their own. She was not a military commander, nor did she aspire to be. The political realm was hers. Though if she didn't like how her military leaders managed things she had no problem getting rid of them in favor of someone else.
"Empress we have arrived," a voice said, pulling her away from her datapad. "Shall I prepare your shuttle?"
"Yes, but make sure we have a communications line with the planet first, Demarco," Aeth said, turning off the device. "These people are relatively human and have a history of independence. This mission needs to go smoothly."
"Of course, Empress."
The Royal Guard disappeared from the room, leaving her alone. Inside of one of the great Imperial vessels she was perfectly safe and didn't need to be guarded at every minute. These would probably be the last few moments she had to herself given that they were about to effectively take over O'reen, hopefully without firing a single shot. If everyone played their part correctly they would take control of the defensive network at the ground based Orbital Deployment Center while she was busy comverting the military leaders in Fort Maximus that they needed to throw their lot in with her and accept her rule for their own safety.
The O'reen had a small naval force of mostly raider vessels. They were no match for Risen Empire vessels, but they wouldn't necessarily believe that. Could she not convince them that their fate was sealed the moment she arrived, they would have to be taught. Given their history, she fully expected them to balk at her demand, but they weren't stupid. If they took control of the satellite network they could effectively confuse the O'reen Navy. Their leaders would come around when this happened. If not, she would let Admiral Wes Gryffon blow their navy apart. It really was that simple sometimes. Though she did hope it wouldn't come to that.
She walked to the door and opened it. Two royal guards stood waiting for her, as well as a page.
"Caze, please go and let Admiral Gryffon know we are proceeding and have him relay that to Rear Admiral Kizar Okins . He will relay landing instructions to our other deployments."
"Yes, Empress," the boy said with a bow before running off to do as instructed.
With that done, she turned to head for the hangar bay. The two royal guards falling in slightly behind and to the side of her. She had no doubt her Hand would be waiting for her when she arrived. She liked reliable people.

Note: This is a hostile takeover but the goal is to do it without firing a shot. We need to take over the Orbital Deployment Center as well as convince the leadership at Fort Maximus that it is in their best interedt to accept our rule. Otherwise, what happens is up to you!
