Constantine Shark (http://ocean.si.edu/sites/default/files/styles/colorbox_full_width/public/photos/Michael-Rutzen_1-full_1.jpg?itok=K2cswev7)

Name: Constantine Shark
Designation: Non-sentient
Homeworld: Terra Damnatia
Language: None.
Average Lifespan: 80 years.
Estimated Population: 40 million.

Average height of adults: 1.5 meters.
Average length of adults: 12 meters.
Skin color: Black, blue, grey and white.
Hair color: None.
Distinctions: The Constantine Shark has a defined colour scheme, the top of the beast is blue, and black as to camouflage itself from the top, and white underneath to make it look like sun hitting the water. The shark has on average, 300 rows of teeth, split up among five different rows of sixty. Throughout its lifespan, these teeth are replaced and regrown, with entire rows shifting forward over the course of a matter of days.

Breathes: Type One.
Strengths:
+Hawk of the Sea: The Constantine Shark has been called the Hawk of the sea by biologists who observe it. Its manoeuvrability is something to behold. Able to swim at incredible speeds, the Constantine Shark is a potent predator.
+Razor Teeth: The serrated teeth of the Constantine Shark shred through most metals and turn even the toughest tendons to nothing but butter.
+Biological Sensor Array: The inbuilt sensors of the Constantine Shark allow it to track prey up to several kilometers away. It can detect the electrical impulses of fish, and other sharks and prey through the water. The shark can smell a single drop of blood in a body of water the size of seventeen Olympic swimming pool.
Weaknesses:
-Just Keep Swimming: The Constantine Shark relies on a fresh supply of oxygenised water filtered through its gills, and because of that, it can't stop. Its body perpetually swims.
-Poor Eyesight: The Constantine Sharks other senses of smell, and electrical detection adequately compensate for this. But it still can't see over two meters ahead of itself.
-Fish Out Of Water: The Constantine Shark is a fish, and can't live on land. It can expose itself out of water, like leaping out to get a better angle on a Swamp Leviathan.

Races: Only a singular species.

Diet: Swamp Leviathans, other Constantine Sharks, larger species of fish and occasionally human.
Communication: Body language.
Culture: The Constantine Shark is a usually lonesome creature. During mating season, which is during the winter months, the sharks have been known to join together in packs of 5-30. During this time, the sharks disappear entirely from the shores, and dive to depths of up to seven kilometres. The reason for this unknown, but they do this for two months of the year.

Constantine Sharks reproductive cycle begins at age four years. That's when males and females are ready to reproduce. Mating can take up to two days for the seed to penetrate the egg. Once this is done, the female carries the eggs in her womb for eighteen months till the egg or eggs develop into shark pups. There can be anything from one to six sharks in the womb. They have a fifty percent survival rate because of disease, cannibalism and other problems.

The sharks predatory tactics are usually those of tracking prey, and either swallowing it whole in the case of fish or attacking it from below in the case of humans and then dragging them to the depths. The Constantine Sharks attacks on coastal Swamp Leviathans, and other Constantine Sharks require more intense tactics. In order to gain the upper hand, and avoid the devastating power of either predators jaws, the Constantine Shark has been known to leap from the water to achieve an angle to mitigate the attack advantages of either creature.
Technology level: None.
General behavior: The sharks are violent predators, attacking without warning anything that appears to be a snack. However during the winter months, those that are found, are less aggressive, and more passive.

History: The Constantine Shark has been a beast which has always been a danger to those who wish to fare the seas or swim. Their name was initially the Sea Devil, but as an act of defiance, it was secretly named the Constantine Shark by citizens who recognised their governors brutality in the beast. Shark attacks have been a regularity, not a month goes by without some poor drunken sod never returning from skinny dipping. Because of that, the shark is respected. It is occasionally fished, and sometimes eaten, but large scale fishing has never been an enterprise pursued due to the risks involved. Biologists have recently taken an interest in the animal, in order to find out more about possible preventative measures to put in place.

Notable Player-Characters: None.

Intent: Adding to the diverse wildlife of Terra Damnatia.

So it jumps out of the water to try and get a better shot at its prey? Can you go into a bit further detail here? Is it trying to get to something on land or sea? If the latter, why doesn't it swim towards it? Lastly, do the "Swamp" Leviathans live in the ocean? Because this shark isn't going to be able tolive in a swamp.

There's a sub species that makes its home on the coast, yes.

Because swimming dead on towards a crocodile or shark, and planning to engage said animal is a bad idea.

I didn't put it for this animal, because I already have rivers covered, but funnily enough, there is a species of shark that does live in swamps/rivers.

In short, the shark leaps at it for surprise and can't reliably best it in a fair fight?

Why is there such a large number of these species? You have a whale-shark sized species, in the mass millions. Most species of animals at that size, in seas, wouldn't number more than in the hundreds of thousands. I can accept a large sum population, under the assumption that due to the planet's low population in general that fishing isn't really a massive enterprise. But you're going to have to drop this down.

They must be able to communicate somehow. Usually body language for fish.

You could really add something with this, such as their relationship with those who reside on the planet. Afterall, you described that they are actively studied by biologists. So certainly there must be a history here.
