Conviction of the Governor [Interest?]

Well-Known Member
Hello all!

Thank you for participating in the Rebellion, it was a lot of fun! I was quite happy with how it ended, but there is still a few matters I would like to address.

First off, the Governor, after inspecting the condition of Belsavis post-ceasefire would like to address both all of the Coalition, and the Alliance...

... and then let judgement be placed upon him, as the sole responsible perpetrator of the conflict.

I feel like this could be a true political intrigue, those who would sentence him to whatever highest punishment the Alliance is willing to dish out, or those who would find forgiveness in noble ignorance.

What do you guys think?

[member="sabrina"] A senator would imply there is a Senate in which they operate it. The mando's, as far as I'm aware, are a Republic. Republic tend to have Senates. The GA, as far as I'm aware, is a Triumvirate of leaders and are not a Republic.

[member="Jacen Voidstalker"] Excellent!

[member="Cecily Demici"] Has offered to defend the good Governor's unfortunate position in the court of law.

[member="Aela Talith"] easy there righteous ;)

[member="Avalore Eden"] Great!

I'll probably start this tomorrow if that's cool with everyone :)

We don't have Senators here. No Senators. Take your Senatorial talk over to the Republic, where there is an actual governing Senate body, please.

Works for me [member="Fatty"]
I know just an idea, does it matter which forum it is in.
When he asked what next?

Also being a politician is fate worse than death.

[member="Taeli Raaf"] An excellent point, although technically speaking there is an excuse for that; as a more primitive people they do not themselves adhere to a greater military chain of command, and they do not possess technological communication devices.

They didn't know of the Ceasefire until another Coalition Militia put themselves in harm's way to tell them it was official, after which they did stop.

I will not however, by any means, cease those accusations, but encourage them! Since their homeworld of Jircho-Reslia is not within the Hex where the Coalition was absorbed, it would explain why they are not in GA influence in the story.

In fact that has given me an idea for my Jedi character who I plan to make a Tunroth. Would a Tunroth who participated in the attack who is force sensitive be given a chance to walk along the path of the light?
