[+]Veteran: Each and every single member of the Coratanni Execution Squad has a large amount of military experience. It doesn't matter their background, which military they fought for, or what war they participated in, all of the CES men and women have years of experience in the field of war. This knowledge gives the members of the Coratanni Execution Squad a distinct advantage in a galaxy often filled with raw recruits.
[-]Overzealous: As with most people working for Slevin and Natalia, the men and women of the Execution Squads tend to be somewhat...unhinged. One simply doesn't work for a crime syndicate for just the money, especially in a group called the 'Execution Squads'. Members of this group have deep personal issues and those issues often take them to rather...dark places during their work. Coratanni never sends in the Execution Squads unless they don't mind leaving behind a mess, these soldiers are not very subtle.
[-]Over-Confident: Perhaps to be expected, the men and women of the Execution Squads are often rather overconfident in themselves. A combination of their experience, their gear, and just personal ego means that many of the men and women within the CES are often far too invested in themselves. This means the Squads will often underestimate their enemies and can lead them into dangerous positions.
[-]Cooperation Problems: The CES are not really a unit that work well with one another. Sure they cooperate within their squads quite well, but as a whole the unit of one hundred or so men and women just don't get along. No one will ever see every single Executioner together, mostly because they're just as likely to kill each other as their targets.

Though usually these problems are taken care of by Natalia or Slevin personally, the growth of SIN and Coratanni mean that there are simply too many issues for the two Thawne's to deal with on their own. As such it was decided a new arm of the Cartel must be formed, one which could deal with problems as they arose in the same method as Slevin and Natalia would deal with them.
This arm would be militaristic in nature, emulating special forces controlled by so many government agencies.
What came about were the Coratanni Execution Squads.
A mixed unit of about one hundred men and women, the Coratanni Execution Squads are a collection of former special forces soldiers from every government entity in the galaxy. These disturbed and deranged individuals came to the Cartel for a number of reasons; financial troubles, sadistic inclinations, and even pure chance. No matter how they ended up there, all of them are paid an extravagant amount of money by the Cartel itself.
The Execution Squads exist for one reason and one reason alone, to deal with problems. Usually sent in teams of four, the Coratanni Execution Squads are sent out by Slevin and Natalia to take care of everything from Rival Cartels to punishing unpaid debts. The Exuction Squads are extremely violent and brutal, their hand and effect being more than evident in any task that they complete.
