- Structure Name: Corell Tower
- Classification: Business/Marketplace
- Location: Denon
- Affiliation: Corellia Digital
- Accessibility:
- Public: The street level has a number of outward facing business that encourage the public to enter freely. This includes the Corellia Digital Store, the banking branch of Corell Financial, and three restaurants, including one on the rooftop terrace that is only open in the evening time. Access from the lobby to the roof is via a single elevator that does not stop at the restricted access floors.
- Private: Security droids restrict access further inside the building to those with appointments or employees. This includes for those businesses that may rent office space inside the building. There is also a gym in the basement for use by the employees and business entities renting space in the building. Once inside, the elevators and doors are biometrically keyed to code cylinders and other access cards. Elevators will respond to the floors for which that person has been granted access.
- Description: A corporate building amid the busy Denon ecumenpolis, Correll Tower was notable for the attention that it attracted through the inclusion of three restaurants that each catered to a different demographic. This encouraged traffic both in and around the building, aiding with getting customer flow through the Corellia Digital Store. Interactions with the Corporate Authorities of Denon often involved financial transactions taking place across myriad markets, which Corell Financial handles. Internally, the building also housed the Denon server farm and data distribution node for Corellia Digital's telecommunications network in the sector.
- Public Access
- Corellia Digital Store: A gadget and gaming focused electronics store, offering the core products of the Corellia Digital company.
- Corell Financial: A banking branch with automated tellers and organic management. While most transactions are handled electronically via credit chips or credit cubes, there is a small vault for transactions involving other forms of currency. Safe deposit boxes are available, with access by appointment only. Security droids are passively stationed inside the vault and behind the teller counter.
- Admiral Snackbar (Take Away/Street Dining): A casual "grab and go" style of restaurant, with a patio that offers street dining.
- Dirk & Blasters Sports Bar & Hologame Arcade (Interior): A chaotic environment that combines the best and worst of a bar, a diner, and a holoarcade.
- Leia's on 27th (Rooftop Terrace): A 5-star restaurant with spectacular cityscape views. Open from sunset until 1am.
- Private Access
- Gymnasium (Basement): A spacious array divided among select cardio equipment, circuit training equipment, and free weights. Locker rooms for gendered species include showers, sauna, and whirlpool.
- Corellia Digital HoloNet Relay (Server Farm/Distribution Node): Corellia Digital's nexus of control for the company's HoloNet service through the region of space controlled by the Corporate Authorities of Denon.
- Office Suites: Corellia Digital occupies the majority of these spaces, with a significant amount of personnel aimed at both human resources and lawyers dedicated to ensuring that the company is in compliance with the various laws and planetary government requirements for this area of space. The remaining space is rented out to various business entities.
Low. Unarmed security droids maintain control points and can send an alarm to the civilian law enforcement authorities on Denon. This is a civilian structure and so it relies on government services for its defense (and the company lines the pockets of the Corporate Authorities to ensure that the cops don't ignore that call). Access to and through the restricted floors is governed by biometric keys, typically some form of code cylinder. This passive security is the primary means of gatekeeping.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Corell Tower was the functional footprint of the intergalactic Corellia Digital Corporation on the planet Denon, being named after the Corellian star. It served the primary audience for the company, boasting the largest Corellia Digital Store in the sector and also hosting a Dirks and Blasters holoarcade themed restaurant. The company's investment arm, Corell Financial, operated a banking branch here. Banking operations focused on currency conversions, investment trading, and also maintained a minor number of safe deposit boxes inside of the vault. A fast food restaurant on the corner and an elaborate terrace view restaurant on the rooftop rounded out the businesses operating out of the building, which functioned to supply a fair amount of traffic and a decent amount of revenue to the company as the landlord.
The Corellia Digital HoloNet Relay for the Denon Sector was controlled from this point, with a large server farm being located here as part of the data distribution node for the telecommunications network. This was the primary reason for restricting access to the interior floors, and was more closely guarded than the small vault inside the bank. The Watchmen security droids were primarily just intended for passive intimidation, with elevator and door access being governed by biometric security keys.
