Strengths:

+ Is a trained hunter and tracker, having fended for himself for many years, he is able to track and hunt very well.

+ Skilled swordsmen, trained under Ben Watts, and while there is still much to learn he has a natural affinity for wielding a weapon and takes easily to learning.

+ Basic knowledge of the force and how it works.

Weaknesses:

- A desire to prove himself which often results in him exerting himself too much.

- Has lived a secluded life and has not experienced much outside of living by himself for most of his life.

- Arrogant in his abilities due to not having experienced what a true Jedi is able to do.


APPEARANCE:
Corran has black hair and dark eyes with a brooding face that looks blank nearly at all times. He appears cold and uncaring but it is a result of being secluded for the past 7 years of his life. He has long hair, which he keeps in a ponytail most times, and he bears a striking resemblance to his father Ben Watts though much younger. His smile is similar to that of his father, but unlike Ben, he rarely smiles. He prefers dark, heavy, and warm clothing but that was due to his living on such a cold planet for so long.

BIOGRAPHY:

Corran is the son of former Jedi Grandmaster, Ben Watts. A well kept secret for many years, Corran was raised in seclusion and was unaware of his fathers status as a Jedi until later on in life. Corran grew up on Coruscant and lived a great life, unbeknownst to him his mother was given money from Ben to make sure he was supported well, and Corran was none the wiser to his heritage. This would not last long, though, as his affinity to the force was just as powerful as his fathers and his grandfathers. From an early age he began exhibiting talents that set him apart from the other children his age.

Nightmares plagued his youth, he would later discover these were not nightmares, but premonitions. The force flowed through his veins and yearned to escape but he had no outlet. He often had dreams of a man who wore a hood and was always watching over him. Everywhere he went, the man was there, in the distance but he would never come close. These were not dreams, but instead, the connection between his father opening up and it was actually Ben watching over him from a distance.

When Coruscant fell to the One Sith, Corran tried to flee with his mother, but unfortunately they were unable to leave the planet. Corran was left to fend for his mother from the uprisings around the city. His wealth no longer mattered and he and his mother were reduced to live like savages fighting for their lives. Eventually his mother grew sick and Corran set off to find a cure on the planet but he was met with a band of thugs who wished to rob him.

It was then that the hooded man from his dreams appeared and saved him. The man revealed himself as Ben Watts, but did not reveal he was Corran's father, and offered to help him find a cure. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to save his mother, and Ben offered to let him come with him from Coruscant. He also revealed that Corran was special, he told him about the force, and expressed his desire to train him. Corran, having nowhere else to go, took the man up on his offer.

The two traveled to Kabaira and Ben took him to the mountains of the planet. An icy region that was very difficult to live in, Corran did not adjust well to the cold at first, but he could not escape. The quiet older man was very stern, but gentle in his teaching, and Corran had no other choice but to adapt and eventually he became one with the cold.

Learning the force was no easy task for Corran. Over the course of years he learned to harness the very basics of the age old techniques. He was taught to hunt, to control his heart rate, he was taught how to lift objects with his mind. He was eventually taught how to build a force imbued blade. Corran often asked of a lightsaber but Ben never showed any signs of having one, which was an extreme disappointment to Corran.

It was not easy to craft the sword and took multiple attempts. Ben would leave for days and come back with durasteel and crystals to imbue into the blade but Corran would destroy them one after the other. After months of trying he was able to make a lightweight sword that proved to be extremely sturdy. He still carries this sword with him.

Eventually Corran was tasked with taming a beast from the wild. The Snow Wolves of Kabaira were abundant and Corran had always admired them. Taming a beast with the force was no easy task and took multiple journeys, but eventually Corran was able to tame a snow wolf. A snow white beast who Corran named Tythos. After this task, Corran was excited to take the next step, but Ben had different ideas. It was then that Ben revealed his true heritage, passing on his knowledge via a force transfer, letting him know who Ben was, what he had done, and what his parentage was. This was a daunting thing to happen to Corran and he passed out.

When he awoke he was no longer in the snow capped mountains, but instead, in a medical center in one of the cities of Kabaira. When he recovered he felt anger at being left alone by his father. He tried his hardest to find him, but to no avail, and through that anger blossomed a new goal. He had seen what his father had done and he knew how he had fallen. Instead of taking the same route as his father, he headed to Bastion, to embrace the power inside of him instead of hiding like Ben had.
