Coruscant, IGR and the Financial District

By now you know that IGR Brokerage is the only PC-owned realtor company in the game. ICly real estate is spread among a lot of NPC-owned businesses, the largest of which is tier-3 at most.

Also because IGR is one of the major partners of Coruscant's reconstruction and, more generally, all things real estate-related in the GA, such as the GAPDP, I would like to know whether Alliance admins would be amenable to grant IGR IC exclusivity to broker deals on a chunk of the Financial District, and not the least because Ugohr fought in the Financial District to begin with.

ICly, in the Coruscant, please take my money thread, Silk Holdings alluded to the corporation's inability to grant such rights and only the Alliance High Command could actually grant exclusivity lease/sale zones to real estate companies on Coruscant. 10 million sq. meters of leasable space is but a rather small chunk of space in Coruscant's context.

P.S.: if any Alliance-friendly corporations need real estate services, or the GA finds itself in need to buy land or faction facilities, you know that Ugohr is always available to thread about that.

I've talked this over with my faction staff, and instead of posting up a massive wall of text explaining each of the bullet points listed below - I've just left them as Bullet point's so they're easy to read and understand; so there's no confusion.
  • Alliance Government cannot agree, nor does it have any authority to grant any land on a member world. That's on the Planetary level.
  • While I'm sure they'd thank you for defending that district, it doesn't mean you receive a piece of the pie.
  • Coruscant Real Estate is already owned, leaving the Alliance with control over the Imperial Palace, The Valley of the Dark Lords, the Senate Building, and anything else directly administered by the One Sith.
  • The Finance District is in no way empty space, which ties into the third point.
  • Imagine companies building habs, towers and the like as they do in Manhattan - or similar metropolis'. They purchase land plots through a broker, which would bypass your company entirely.
  • If you want something on Coruscant, you can easily make a thread buying a building and then go about your business - whatever it may be on the planet in regards to the fifth point. Thus, if purchased, that in no-way guarantee's that the Federation has given it's blessing - or sponsor's that purchase.
  • If the Alliance wishes to do business, that is and will be on a separate level from Coruscant. We don't meddle in their planetary affairs, ala the first point.

I thought IGR was a broker, and not a real estate developer or landlord (although some of the Codex entries submitted for Dulvoyinn and Malastare may give the impression that IGR also did real estate development), but nevertheless I accept this verdict - any future factional business with IGR as a real estate broker will have to wait as well as being on a separate level from Coruscant.

I understand that real estate brokerage is a thing that leaves factions rolling their heads and that there were no real estate broker PCs before I came, and that there were no precedent anywhere in Chaos for that sort of requests for such an activity.
