Lance made these blades shortly after finishing his spear. He recognised where his spear failed him and thus made a blade to make up for those shortcomings. However after he made his own he realised how useful it was and thus made a further nine.
The blades are all force imbued the same way by lance who hunted down each material by himself allowing them to have a personal touch and make them special to him. Due to the imbuement on each blade they are all resistant to plasma weaponry.
The other imbuement on these blades was a form of pyrokenesis that allows the blades to be always fiery when out of their sheaths. The sheaths are made from Tenetrak hide that means they can hold the blades and make sure another force user couldn't pull the blade on them.
A crystal was included in the hilt a red dantari crystal that allows the user to refresh their force usage in battle. However they can be nullified as every imbuement on the blade when against void stone or ysalimiri.
The crystals can also be broken removing their effects and a final weakness of the flames being used against the wielder of the sword if they are not ready for such an attack or simply not strong enough to stop them from using it against them.
