PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Corvin is a striking figure, standing at average height with a lean, athletic build that reflects the physical training passed down from his Thyrsian mother. His white hair falls just before his blindfold in a maintained style. His most noticeable feature is his blindfold, which hides the dull, sightless blue eyes that mark his Miraluka heritage. Despite being blind, his Force Sight allows him to perceive the world in vivid detail, attuned to the flow of life and the Force around him.

Across his face, just beneath the blindfold, runs a faint blue birthmark that forms a thin line stretching below his eyes. The mark splits at each end and trails down his cheeks, giving him a slightly otherworldly appearance. Corvin often wears simple Jedi robes, but beneath them, he still carries a few trinkets from his mother’s past, subtle nods to his Thyrsian roots.
INVENTORY
Lightsaber: Corvin’s lightsaber emits a silver blade, symbolizing balance and clarity. The hilt is minimalistic, with a slim design that allows for quick, agile movements in combat.

- Blindfold: Though he technically doesn't need it to navigate, Corvin keeps his eyes covered as a nod to both his Miraluka heritage and to avoid making others uncomfortable by his blind stare.

- Sun Guard Dagger: A gift from his mother, this ceremonial blade is one of his few connections to his Thyrsian heritage. Though he doesn't use it, the dagger serves as a reminder of the strength and discipline she taught him.

- Datapad: Used to record notes from his studies at the Jedi Temple.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Corvin is introspective and calm, carrying himself with a quiet intensity that reflects both his Jedi training and his warrior heritage. He is dedicated to his studies and takes pride in learning from those around him, though the discipline and independence taught by his mother sometimes make him resistant to authority. He respects the Jedi Code but wrestles internally with the warrior ideals of honor, strength, and loyalty his mother instilled in him.

Despite his blindfolded gaze, Corvin has a sharp sense of humor, often surprising those around him with witty remarks or observations. He believes deeply in protecting those he cares about and struggles to reconcile the Jedi’s philosophy of non-attachment with his strong bond to his mother.

He has an unshakable belief in fairness and justice, influenced by his father’s code of surviving on the fringes of the galaxy. This sometimes puts him at odds with his fellow Padawans, as Corvin sees the line between light and dark as more nuanced than they do.
STRENGTHS
Force Sight: Thanks to his Miraluka heritage, Corvin is able to see through the Force, giving him heightened spatial awareness and an almost supernatural understanding of his surroundings. His sight is not limited to light and shadow, but extends to the Force signatures of living beings, giving him a unique edge in combat and his Jedi studies.

2. Combat Training: Raised by a former member of the Sun Guard, Corvin is well-versed in hand-to-hand combat and the use of blades. Though he primarily trains with his lightsaber, his knowledge of traditional Thyrsian martial arts makes him a formidable opponent.

3. Mental Discipline: His mother’s rigorous training combined with the focus taught by the Jedi has given Corvin exceptional mental fortitude. He is able to resist mental manipulation and is skilled in keeping his emotions in check, even in stressful situations. WEAKNESSES
Emotional Conflicts: Corvin’s deep connection to his mother and the teachings of his Thyrsian heritage can sometimes put him at odds with the Jedi’s teachings of detachment and serenity. This inner conflict creates moments of self-doubt, and he can be tempted to act impulsively when those he cares for are threatened.

2. Blind Spots in Force Sight: While Force Sight gives Corvin many advantages, it can also create vulnerabilities. His sight relies heavily on sensing life and energy, making him less perceptive to inanimate threats, droids, or objects without a strong presence in the Force.

3. Difficulty with Authority: Due to his upbringing, Corvin has a strong sense of independence, and this sometimes causes friction when following orders or adhering strictly to Jedi protocols. He is more likely to question authority than blindly follow it, which can lead to tension with his instructors.
HISTORY
Corvin Strix was born aboard a small freighter, far from the structured life of the Core Worlds. His father, a skilled Miraluka smuggler, lived a life on the fringe, using his Force Sight to navigate dangerous hyperspace routes and evade authorities. His mother, a former Sun Guard of Thyrsus, was a disciplined warrior who had left her past behind to raise Corvin in a safer, more stable environment. Despite this, she couldn't fully abandon her warrior ways and sought to instill in him the principles of honor, strength, and self-discipline.

When Corvin was eight years old, his father's smuggling crew became entangled in a violent conflict with a rival syndicate. During one fateful mission, his father went missing, presumed dead after their ship was ambushed in deep space. The loss of his father was a devastating blow, but it also cemented Corvin's connection to his mother, who became his protector and teacher.

Although hardened by grief, Corvin’s mother did her best to nurture and care for him, imparting both the ways of the Thyrsian warrior and the importance of survival. She trained him rigorously in combat, teaching him how to wield a blade and defend himself, though she also respected the teachings of the Jedi, understanding that Corvin's talents with the Force needed careful guidance beyond her own abilities.

When Corvin was discovered by a Jedi Knight during a skirmish on the Outer Rim, his mother, despite her warrior pride, allowed him to be taken to the Jedi Temple. She knew that Corvin’s gifts were greater than the life she could offer him. Still, they maintained a close bond, with her sending messages of encouragement and wisdom throughout his training, always reminding him of his roots and the strength of their lineage.

Now, at 17, Corvin struggles to balance the legacy of his father’s smuggling life, the warrior code of his mother, and the Jedi teachings of peace and restraint. He pushes himself to excel as a Padawan, knowing his mother’s hopes rest on him becoming something greater than the conflict that took his father. Yet, his dual heritage often leaves him conflicted, as he seeks to honor his mother's wishes while navigating the complex path of a Jedi.
