Grey Eyed Hero
The planet is a known Force Nexus, which likely attracted them to land there, but it is far too close to the Sith. Outer Rim patrol parties have already detected Sith scouts moving into the region, so the task is simple — find the Aing-Tii and escort them away to safety before the Sith are able to reach them, and cause many more to die.
Jasper could very strongly feel the force nexus upon arriving on Weik, just as Master Noble had described. It was clear what had lead the Aing-Tii to this place. The objective was clear. The monks faced extinction, and there were still lives that hung in the balance that could be saved from the onslaught of the Sith. Now he was leading a mission to get them to safety. Easier said than done. While the Aing-Tii had been reported to arrive on Weik, aboard three of their organic crafts, there had been no further sightings of them since. The recent arrival of Sith scouts into the area made the urgency of the situation all the more clear.
Fortunately, he was not alone. Dreidi was a resent edition to the ranks of Jedi Knight, an individual who was eager to prove herself. They had met once before, but only briefly, way back when he was a padawan himself. Jasper had no doubts in her abilities. Those from his generation grew up in an era of constant war. Their survival and elevation to knighthood was a mark of skill, one he held in the highest respect...
Ironically all but his own merits.
"Right then," Jasper began from the cockpit of his freighter. "The Aing-Tii were last seen in this area. I figure that they're using the foliage for cover. Reports say a few scout ships have come through, but no chatter in any Sith channels indicates that they've found them. We'll have some time, but we'll need to move quickly. We find the Aing-Tii, get them moving, cover their escape off Weik, then high tail it up the Corellian Run before the Sith even realize we're here."
It was a pretty basic plan, but that was what was best for time. The faster they moved, the fewer Sith they aggravated.
"Any questions?"
