BIOGRAPHY:
The noble house of Webb was among the richest families on the planet Serenno. Like those of Dooku and many that came before Webb was a very proud and upstanding family, all the way down to the current members of Tiberius and Gamora Webb. Tiberius had married Gamora into the family who, at the time, was not but a simple handmaiden who tended to his dying mother. The two became close and eventually married into their new union.
But where Tiberius had originally seen a humble, shy and pretty young girl was soon soured by Gamora’s overuse of her newfound wealth and power. She became more upstart and pious, looking down on others and berating any who did not hold as high a standing as her and her family. Despite the reminders from Tiberius of her origins Gamora still treated herself as if she was born into the nobility she flaunted.
Tiberius became more distant from Gamora and instead found himself attracted to one of the servant girls, Forda; a miraluka girl. She was tenderer, reminding Tiberius of Gamora when she was younger and more the girl he knew then. The two had an affair that was only finally discovered by Gamora after it was revealed that Forda had given birth to a daughter fathered by Tiberius himself.
Soured by her actions and accusations Tiberius warned that the child would be his sole heir once the needed changes were made, and Gamora would be left with nothing. Enraged Gamora had killed both Tiberius and Gamora, using her manipulation to make it seem like an accident. She kept the child, however, and decided to raise her as her own, naming her Lucrecia.
Aware of her force abilities and how it could be considered a greater threat to her Gamora forbade Lucrecia from being taught as a force user, instead pushing her in arts of proper etiquette, business and so forth. All things she wanted Lucrecia to learn to be a “proper lady”. Over the years, however, Lucrecia could sense the hostility her mother had towards her, constantly punishing her over small acts or pushing her to the limits with her studies. Even when she’d asked about her use with the force Gamora called it “a special disease” that she should fear using ever again.
Years went by and Lucrecia matured into the proper woman Gamora wanted. During that time Lucrecia was all the more respectable and yet bitter towards her mother, hating that she had kept her so confined and even to this day had not fully loved her. It was only on the anniversary of her father’s death, which Gamora still kept as a lie, that Lucrecia finally learned the truth.
Saddened by how Gamora treated her one of the other servants revealed the truth. She had seen what Gamora did and told no one, for fear of death by her hands if she could not fully prove it. With this revelation, knowing who she was, Lucrecia had a new goal in mind. As her mother gave her words to the grave of Tiberius Lucrecia confronted her, telling the truth she now knew. At first she acted sincere, telling that she understood why her mother did what she had to. She hugged her only to drive a knife into her back as deep as she could. As her mother lay dying Lucrecia told her she would be a proper woman…
“Far better than you could ever be.”
After burying her mother Lucrecia now had control of the Webb fortune and estate. With a new perspective and goal set for herself she seeks to make powerful allies and finally learn what her gifts with the force can unlock for herself.
