HISTORICAL INFORMATION
A brand-new weapons development project. This project has been tasked with creating a weapon that can reach out and hurt much more powerful entities and ships able to sit out at a range that the current "Fury-III" Heavy Anti-Orbital Missile can't strike at, and to outrange these ships in turn by designing a miniaturized hyperdrive that can strike the relatively few shipyards and supply stations which, if destroyed or otherwise neutralized forms strategically-vital advantage for Crossroads. However, there is another more sinister purpose, the project has been tasked with designing a terror weapon, able to be tasked with striking government centers and other industrial cities with enough power to cause catastrophic collateral damage. This mission statement has been what the project has operated on for its short lifespan. Thus far, its own history has been quiet, with no major practical tests having been conducted yet.

- Membership: Heavily-vetted by the both the Crossroads Defense Industries and the Crossroads Republic's domestic security apparatus for any potential issues. Anyone who is even plausibly a risk is not even told what they are being vetted for. The employees and security personnel of this project don't volunteer, they are vetted covertly, approached then interviewed by their prospective department heads, and then are they offered a position after signing a non-disclosure agreement and implanted with a special neural implant at the base of their skull which is linked by DNA scans. All droids involved in the program are assembled on-site under the supervision of project security personnel.
- Climate: A very potentially-lethal place to work. Any potential breaches of project confidentiality are dealt with severely, i.e. the individual(s) is summarily and covertly murdered and it is made to look like an accident, an allergy, a heart-attack, etc. However the project's personnel are quite well-treated beyond the security precautions. They are well-paid, quartered, their families monitored to prevent kidnapping and blackmail from being a potential security risk.
- Reputation: The project is classified, therefore there are is not a reputation of this project outside a very select group, who see it as a strategically-necessary project.
- Curios: All the people involved in this project have a small DNA-verifying neural implant to show that they are cleared to enter areas that they are cleared to enter.
- Rules: Beyond the normally socially-accepted norms there is only one major rule: DO NOT VIOLATE PROJECT SECURITY
