Crafting the "Allit Beskad" (ask before joining if you are not mandalorian)

Brynyar Ordo

The mandalorian wanted to craft a simple hacking and slashing trench knife type blade, in honor of his father. The giant zabrak was a mere apprentice in beskar smithing, he knew just enough to create a blade one that would become quite deadly. Brynyar hashed out a design made to hack off limbs , and to consistently stab his enemy , needing no defense capabilities from this weapon he decided to sacrifice a traditional straight blade which would provide better known defense for a curved and distributed blade made just for offensive capabilities. The handle would be Durasteel but what size? The blade and hilt would be Beskar , as there was enough from his fathers forge to craft any specified length. But what length? This is a question that concerned the inexperienced smith. He glanced over the sky , motionless, thinking. What length ?

After many days of thought , Brynyar would decide to make the blade 19 inches with a 60 degree curve allowing for increased hacking and slashing. The brute smiled as he imagined going into battle with his newly crafted weapon how the angle combined with his pure brute force would lope off arms, legs, would plunge enemies painfully . The hilt would be 7 inches for protection and for the ability to easilly pull the blade out . His tactics in battle were physical agreesion close up and agressive targeting in ranged combat, requiring explosiveness , and flexibility. This was a no brainer, now the warrior had to contemplate what the length of the handle would be.

After serious thought the handle would also be 7 inches for the sake of easily holding the blade. There would be no cosmetics , just the blade, the hilt , and the handle. With the beskar , durasteel , and with the blueprints of this unique blade, yet simple blade. The forge of his ancestors, of his father began to warm , the zabrak brute began the necessary preparations, as the smelter began to warm , as his wielder began to charge, all the tools began coming to life. This would be Brynyar's first creation, a smile would attend the brute, his focus was in the right place. This was by honoring his father, and continuing the craft. There would be great hope that one day he could find a master beskar smith, and that one day he could craft his own armor. The thought astounded the giant , as he gather his hammer , to begin shaping the blade.

It was easy to shape the handle into a circular handle with the specific measurements he made up his mind on early after smelting, battering the hammer, and repeating this process to perfection, the durasteel hilt was formed. The heat and smoke was active again this took hours of agonizing banging sounds, and that sizzle the forge, and smelter make, the sparks made after a beating from the hammer for this proccess to be over, and for this part of the beskad would be shaped. .

The brute after finally, shaping the blade began to shape the hilt, he wanted the hilt to be beskar as to allow protection to the blade handle , these three separate components would make the blade, the smith thought. A perfect offensive weapon, that while lacking in defensive capabilities, would certainly be fine. His style is constantly criticized for its lack of defense, but what does it matter? In the giant mandalorian's mind , a good defense was a good offense . This type of thought process is how he became a mandalorian, and while not owning beskar armor yet, at least he would use the material that gave advantage over the darmada, and aruieliti he would be fighting . He loved his home , perhaps a little too much, there was a forge some secluded land to train, and to rest, until his manda'lor would call him, or until another contract, or artifact rumor came his way. The hilt's shape was pretty standard, completely straight as t add the proper protection needed . His ability to craft things after days of spending time preparing and forging the blade, had paid off, now it would only take a significantly shorter time to craft the hilt, which is needed in order to complte the blade , to mesh and wield it perfectly together.

The mandalorian allowed for time for each component to properly shape. This process may take days , or up to a week depending on weather conditions. Brynyar hated waiting , his patience was thin, he wanted this beskad made, in order for him to finally have three options when it came to weapons, he had a launcher by this point, a repeater , now he needed a melee weapon for close quartered combat. He looked are imagining how he would fight with the blade, how he would slash downward, and immediately counter the block with a diagonal strike, or an upper cut. The possibilities gave him hope in allowing him, to continue his lack of predictability in his combat styles, he would have a majority of his weapons ready, for any circumstance , and to suit his style. The shaping of these components was almost complete , almost ready to start the welding process.

With each component properly shaped the welding process began, the apprentice smith began welding the blade, and the hilt together. Fire embers lit the forge, as the welder began masking the two components together. This was what Brynyar needed , a break he returned having a newly made weapon for himself , a heavy repeater, and a grenade launcher , now he needed a weapon for close range, this is exactly the perfect time to finish his project his beskad, for future generations of his allit , it had almost been a week since he started forging the simple item, if he did not have the tools , it would have been much longer to craft the weapon. While simple in design , it would become masterfully effective. The horned individual would have to wait for the welding to smooth over, to cool , in order for the blade to be in preferred condition, instead of looking like some sloppy handy work.
