With the thread for the Levantine Sanctum contract, I had a bit of an idea.
As I recently have started working with a dredging company for coastal construction, I kind of grabbed some inspiration off of that. (For whatever reason, i cite all sources, even useless ones).
Anyway; I was wondering if there would be any interest in a friendly in-house competiton for the Tion Hegemony. The long and the short of it is to make a space station along one of the major hyperspace routes in the CIS space (not Mara because Silk scares me). The basis of the station is that of a hotel, casino, trading bazaar, and convention center. Something that IC wise could be used by multiple factions in a peaceful and resort-feel.
Through a series of threads, the bidding would happen, with designs and prototypes of a station being created, taking in all the forms of funds; construction, labor, materials, employees, as well as creating just what each station would have on it, and competing the designs against one another. Once the construction begins, then another round or two for exclusive or non exclusive rights for shops, repair facilities, hotel management, casino management and security could occur. Basically creating our own (potentially back-room Tion controlled) station?
