One and a half Years before joining the RSL

She was fading in and out. She hadn't eaten in hours, and while most might have taken it to mean she was lazy, or unproductive, her body was quite literally rejecting anything she wanted to do at the moment. in truth, she didn't really care about whatever the speaker at this event was talking about and had only opted to come as it was a safe haven from the beating rays of sun Tattooine had to offer. What did some Rodian on Tattooine know about opening a company anyway? Initially, her thoughts on this were relatively negative, though as he spoke; her hyper-processor of a brain effortlessly crunched what he said and saw the logic of it. What could Iella offer people, outside of a blaster, or a blade? Right now, she was half drooling on some Trandoshan who was one, apparently not as violent as his counterparts, but two, clearly losing his temper as the small human kept falling asleep on his shoulder.

She passed out again on the bit about Monopoly and would snap back up as she noticed the Trandoshan growling something in his native tongue, moving over a few seats. She snapped back up, letting her head slump back, listening and quite literally watching her own demise. Imagine dying for no other reason than hunger. It might have been what she deserved though. Ever since that job on Empress Teta, things had been... Off. Like Karma had turned about full and socked her one to the upper lip. Yet there had been no recourse for her actions, so she doubted it was on purpose. Perhaps it was guilt?

The more she listened, the more she wondered the question this Rodian speaker was posing though. What could she offer? Her body was worth millions of credits easily... Ironic, considering she was dying from a lack of food. Well, starving, would be a better terminology; but one should make no mistake that it was too death. It was about forty minutes until she noticed the smell at first. Soup? Roasted meats. Thank the F-.. Well, whatever there was to thank. For once, she straightened up, eyes glancing right at resting on the catering staff bring out the assorted sandwiches and large trays of soups. Oh yeah...

Iella licked her lips, still somehow listening to what the other was saying, and forced her gaze away from the free food, not wanting to look like she was here for exactly what she was here for. She would just get a few nibbles, and get the hell out of here she thought, though... Then the Rodian brought up the joys of opening a company in an environment where the government had little input on what said company did, and she canted her head curiously. Folding her arms, Iella seemed to hyperfocus for a bit, listening intently as the Rodian broke down how easily one could make a company, make something that people wanted, and profit from it.

Wasn't Tatooine under the control of the Mandalorian Enclave? She didn't exactly trust making a company near those types. They hadn't exactly come through for her in the past when she was starting out, and had heard they could easily go from friend to foe just that fast. Not to mention there were probably hundreds of those murder hobos roaming the galaxy.

As if she hadn't slowly turned into a murder hobo herself. Iella briefly rubbed sleep from her eyes and blinked a few times at the speaker. The second she heard a spoon clink on a plate, she rose with a stumble, moving to get a bowl full of soup, and a few pieces of bread. She just needed to burn something in her system. She remained standing, fully intent on leaving, but instead found herself still listening intently to the speaker.

The Galactic Alliance was a relatively safe place right, save for the dangers of politicians? Couldn't help that she had shot a politician for the Galactic Alliance not even a few weeks passed. She wasn't going anywhere near Jedi, or even worse Sith; her luck they would've sensed something amiss with her and wanted to take her in. As cool as it might have been, she was comfortable leaving the Space Magic stuff to the pros. She preferred blasters, and slugs. Sprinkled with your occasional vibro-blade. Moving beyond that, eventually she would need to visit a Nakaioma facility eventually to get her frame checked. She was probably still good, but she had been having nightmares about something... Breaking, in her.

As if all the issues, and warning of her youth had compiled at once, she was now broken, broke, and didn't have a clear direction. She could understand everything, much faster than the normal individual could, and yet still they were all seemingly way ahead of her, and not lurking the free soup from this event... More for her. So, this guy was saying she could make a company for quite literally none of her own money, and somehow strike it? She wondered if that was what her parents had done. They were both rich, but they couldn't have been born rich right?

Who the hell do you ask for that kind of money? Hutts? Heavens, no... Who would ask a Hutt for money? She continued eating, finishing her first bowl, and shuddering as she felt the energy creep along her body, little spasms of what felt like pure energy moving along her muscle. She got another bowl, more bread, and a few sliced meats to make a sandwich. This time, noticed by the speakers who offered her a frown. Clearly wondering if she was homeless. Iella ignored it, eating before they had an opportunity to mess up her meal.

So, if she made a company with someone else's money, so long as she could get customers to buy what it was she was pitching, she could potentially pay back her investor, and then forget she even had any? Why hadn't she thought of that before? What did people in the galaxy want to buy? Blasters? Slugthrowers? Weren't weapons a bit of a saturated market? She did a quick scan of the holo-net, and shook her head. Weapons were a dead market, as were ships. Every single person had the best of both by the dozens. There were other markets to explore though. Maybe she could focus on something simpler, like speeders... What about exploration vehicles? She wanted to explore things. Who the hell was she going to ask for money to create a company?

She paused then, staring up at the speaker, and thinking about it.
