LFG Crime Syndicates and Gangster Factions

I just watched a documentary on Al Capone, and it got me thinking about how cool it would be to write a gangster/crime lord PC. It also reminded me of how badly I would fail at it, seeing as I am a huge softie, can’t say no to people, and would be disinclined to order my men to beat people to death with a soap sock.

Anyway, I’m wondering about crime factions here on Chaos. I recall that the Black Sun was a major when I first joined back in December 2019, but then they got absorbed into the EE and I haven’t really heard much from them since. Darkwire has a decent setup for it, including plenty of slicers, smugglers, hitmen, bounty hunters, getaway drivers and thugs in their ranks, but as far as I know nobody is actually attempting to organize all that crime. Which brings me to my question at last: are there any minor crime factions I am simply unaware of? And if not, does anybody want to make one?

The Black Sun is still exist, they have important role in our plot. For example they rule the underworld in the EE clouds, and we trade through them with much of the galaxy. Also their members involved in the Hutt Republic which is a sub-faction in the SJC.

I’ve been wanting to get some more underworld-criminal stuff going as well. Recently I have been reading books like the Smuggler’s Guide and The Bounty Hunter Code, and the inspiration I have been getting from them is insane.

Having a big criminal organization running the bad-side of the galaxy could he really cool to have. I’d love to get in on this as well.

(But obviously not with Okkeus. Big time crime lords aren’t really his thing...)

It has been brought to my attention that Darkwire has some crime syndicates that have yet to be developed, and they'd be open to fleshing them out or adding more to the number.

We could grow a sub-faction out of this, if y'all are interested. I'd prefer not to have to build a faction from scratch, mostly because it's too much work and I have not the strength to make it to the promised land, rip.
