Description: The Crosshatch Freighter was designed to carry a lot of poodoo very far very fast, though at the cost of defencibility as in a convoy it can outpace it's escorts and in wartime operations losses that advantage. Though it isn't useless on it's own, as it has a small spattering of weapons, basically none for a ship of it's size, but enough to deter pirates or tie down merchant raiders until it can either make it's escape or reinforcements can make it.
