Baboon with a MAAWS
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Domed trade cities: Well-built domes of durasteel and transparisteel with a mix of short skyscrapers, apartment blocks, and commercial and residential districts no different to most other towns on Crossroads Prime. Has its artificial gravity set to 2.8G by law. Connected to other domes by enclosed roads and by hover train lines.
Large botanical domes: Well-built domes of durasteel and transparisteel with advanced environmental controls for their crops and livestock and the artificial gravity varies according to the crops or livestock.
Starlight Shipyards R&D Facility: A large dome with a high level of security present, it has a large number of labs, simulators, and shipbuilding facilities for building prototype ships and testing facilities for putting them through their paces. This facility is the place where Starlight Shipyards develops new products and new ships and tests them. As such it is highly protected, even against government spies because Starlight Shipyards knows that the Crossroads Defense Industries has contacts that can steal corporate secrets that allow them to continue to maintain their legal military industrial monopoly.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
One of a chain of fairly old colonies created by Crossroads to keep others from encroaching on their local space and built using newly-established methods and techniques developed by the New Start Colonization Firm. The populace that settled here is mostly from Coruscant and Tanaab, and they have always been split by the Tanaab colonists who lead quiet, private lives, while the Coruscanti colonists in the city domes are loud, boisterous, and industrious. And for their several hundred years of existence the Crossroads-16 colonists have been at odds with one another, with two separate crime families effectively ruling the underworld of the colony, with the Coruscanti's having a drug cartel running the show, infiltrating into local politics, and a mostly racketeering ring of Tanaabian colonists running the show in the more "rural" areas. Crossroads police have been having trouble for years keeping them in check, but things have never gone into open gang war, as the last time it happened in 753 ABY the Crossroads Army, and specifically, the Special Forces took a very direct and brutal hand in dealing with the criminal syndicates. Since then, the criminal cold war has been a prime source of trouble for Crossroads-16, but it was the establishment of Starlight Shipyards' R&D Facility that saw it become a very good place to find a job for engineers and scientists.

- Description: A small moon colony with domed cities and towns. Each of them have decent manufacturing bases, with various civilian industrial centers and some military production plants building vehicles, weapons, equipment, and supplies. There's no atmosphere, and the surface is mostly gray and pockmarked with impact craters and the towns and cities are domed with very well-endowed with greenery with lots of parks, manicured medians, and yards for them. The overall purpose of this colony, like many others, is to create a bit of a small-town feel for the inhabitants who wish to live a quiet life. There's also large botanical domes, growing some exotic fruits and vegetables and some have pastures for more exotic livestock to get extra money. There are packing plants for these products for shipment out to other trade ports. Large surface mines mostly run by droids and small biological crews. All artificial gravity where people live is kept at 2.8G by law, but the botanical gardens are kept at their crops' or livestocks' natural state. Like other Crossroads colonies they have a moon-spanning shield generator system to protect it. Like other Crossroads colonies they have a moon-spanning shield generator system to protect it. Has several batteries of CDI "Fury III" Heavy Anti-Orbital Missiles for defending the moon and its populace as well as making any fight to take the moon far too costly to be worth the possible advantage. The prime source for the highest income is the Starlight Shipyards R&D Facility, but the other high-income sources have been the criminal underground, two separate crime families.
