HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Another moon where refugee colonies were offered to an oppressed group of people. In this case, it was during the Clone Wars, when the Belugans were heavily oppressing the Kage, enslaving their people, kidnapping their daughters for slave wives, and doing so without any assistance from either the Republic or the Separatists. However, the Kage had help, when the Kage refugees were arrested and enslaved and the Crossroads Republic, in a very rare departure from their usual isolationist ways, sent a fleet into the Inner Rim and decisively invaded the world and rescued the tens of thousands of Kage, this took place in the heart of Republic territory and publicly embarrassed the Republic military to such a degree that dozens of Senators tried to get Republic sanctions passed against Crossroads, but the refugee rescue and relocation effort was enough to garner them substantial support and no repercussions followed. Since then, the Kage refugees were joined by large numbers of industrial workers on the surface, although the Kage were left alone for the most part, although unlike other refugees they eventually became subject to the Crossroads military draft, although due to their species unique physical capabilities they excelled. Crossroads-8 has since then been an ideal artic training ground and a key industrial hub in the civilian economy as well as a military industrial hub for the production of smaller warships and component parts to larger ships. Like other Crossroads colonies it has a sizeable garrison of defense fighters, bombers, and a planetary shield generator.

- Description: A mostly snow and ice-covered with surface factories and large Crossroads Defense Industries military shipyards producing mostly warship components, but it possesses large crystalline caverns beneath the surface. It has numerous Kage towns, cities, and farms, but only a few Kage cities actually exist, but they are big ones, built within the crystallin caverns on large hydrothermal vents. The surface is home to large mountain ranges and flat sweeping iced-over oceans with some water currents below the thick ice. There are large volcanoes which are continually-spewing large amounts of steam into the cold atmosphere. The cities on the surface are domed, built with the interiors showing normal clear blue skies and clouds. The interiors are all managed with fairly warm artificial climates and they have large skyscrapers inside. Like other Crossroads colonies they have a moon-spanning shield generator system to protect it. Has several batteries of CDI "Fury III" Heavy Anti-Orbital Missiles for defending the moon and its populace as well as making any fight to take the moon far too costly to be worth the possible advantage.
