  • Description: A lifeless rock with large city domes with their artificial gravity by law kept to 2.8G around the equator with space elevators to large orbital ring which is a massive civilian shipyard in orbit, with its own internal gravity kept to 2.8G. Like other Crossroads colonies they have a moon-spanning shield generator system to protect it. Has several batteries of CDI "Fury III" Heavy Anti-Orbital Missiles for defending the moon and its populace as well as making any fight to take the moon far too costly to be worth the possible advantage.
POINTS OF INTEREST
Crossroads-9 Orbital Shipyards: A from the ground-up design and build. The shipyards were designed to be an orbital ring from concept, so it has a very efficient system of transportation of materials and components. The shipyard ring is anchored to the moon by orbital elevators. It also possesses built-in contingencies for Crossroads Republic troops to rapidly board and defend the station as well as being able to switch over to military production. Certain segments of the yards build different ships and ship types.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
A colony whose moon is unable to maintain an atmosphere, but it is an excellent spot for an orbital shipyard. The entire establishment of the colony and its shipyard was bought and paid for by Starlight Shipyards, who own the massive shipbuilding facilities. While not as impressive as other shipyard rings like Kuat the Crossroads-9 yard is still impressive and very productive, with thousands of ships coming out of them per year. Therefore, it is home to concentrated presence of the Crossroads fleet and Starlight Shipyards own security forces and has a massive work force and droid security force. It also possesses a two-layer planetary shield system and Fury-III Heavy Anti-Orbital Missile silos.
