- Description: The Crown Nebula luxury hotel features a 50-seat restaurant, where a variety of cuisines is served, as well as 29 luxury rooms, complete with accommodations consistent with luxury hotels across the galaxy: a business center, running water across all rooms, with bubble baths (which, on Trandosha, is considered a luxury item, as is the case in desert regions on planets). All rooms are accessible via the central courtyard, whose main access is covered by the lobby. Guests can also be chauffeured to hunting grounds for free.
POINTS OF INTEREST
The centerpiece of the Crown Nebula Hotel is the central courtyard, surrounded on three sides by guest rooms over two floors, with fourteen rooms on the ground floor and fifteen on the second floor, with the remaining side, facing south, taken up by the lobby in the center, the business center to the right of the main lobby and the restaurant to its left.
In addition, a 25-meter-long swimming pool is located on the northeast corner of the property, comprising all the equipment that a standard short-course competition pool normally comprises, with twenty pool chairs and palm trees lining up the edges of the poolside areas.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Built as an egotistical project of its owner, Ithuvask, in 842 ABY, the Crown Nebula hotel is an example of boutique luxury hotel, designed using a hodge-podge of architectural styles with well-appointed rooms. For a while, the hotel lived on, but it earned a bad rap for mistreating employees, causing the hotel to go through 15 different managers since its opening, and the average tenure of sentient employees at the hotel is a measly three months. It has been found that the hotel lived under the Silver Jedi by essentially abusing the tax credits for hiring refugees, to the extent it is possible to do so in a hotel that size. At the height of the Great Galactic War, the revolving door was so severe that the staff at the time, mostly comprised of Vratix, Pau'ans and Utai, asked for SJ intervention.
After a moneylaundering scheme by a major slavery ring was uncovered, powered by its then-draconian cancellation policy, and later found to also include betting revenues from swimming races, Ithuvask no longer owns the inn and the hotel was purchased by the Silver Jedi Order, and hence the Silver Jedi Order virtually controls the luxury hotel industry on Trandosha as a result. The new general manager of the Crown Nebula ended up being the last receptionist of the hotel under Ithuvask's tenure.
