CORPORATION INFORMATION

Corporation Name: Crytech
Headquarters: Bastion
Locations: Kol Huro, Ossus, Dariya, Koratas
Operations: Military Assets production, Drug Production, Heavy Industry/ Infrastructure, Mining

DESCRIPTION:

CryTech deals business like any other legitimate business owned by a Sith, shady and underhanded. Putting on the facade of wanting to benefit the economy by offering jobs to those who need it. In truth, it is just a way to pull in the desperate and needy. Crytech inherent loyalty falls to the Sith Empire though they will make deals with almost anyone who isn't affiliated with the Jedi Order in a positive way. This is played off as a difference in Corporate culture and vision for what Crytech wishes to promote to the public.

A majority of its weapons are sold to the Empire with the Imperials receiving the first pick of any experimental weaponry or production that comes off the line. While this relationship has left some distasteful with the company the quality of their weapons is enough to make the good-natured bandit look the other way.

Currently, Crytechs main focus is to make a name for itself to the people of the Sith Empire and its military officers because there is no better advertising then having your weapon be seen on battlefields across the galaxy. While all of this is presented to the public the few criminal lords that have a connection to the right people in CryTech know of their more medicinal ventures. As well as pumping out your regular serums and pain relievers they produced just as much drugs to be shipped out into the galaxy through various distributors.

RATIONALE:

The birth of Crytech stems from a much longer and richer history than its own. In its inception, the corporation that is Crytech was actually called “Aurashade Industries” after the owning family, the Aurashades. Initially, a mining company Aurashade Industries was a sizeable supplier of resources to the wide reaches of the galaxy. As time went on and the company saw ever-increasing profit they would expand outward into other markets, one being its Machinery supplier. Taking them under the Umbrella of the company “Aurashade Industries” became “Aurashade”. Within time the company had branched out into not only military pursuits but medical pursuits to match it. Generations of leaders saw the company grow until Stavin Kan Aurashade would prove to be the downfall of the potential empire.

Baring his name as a bargaining chip and flaunting his families riches Stavin not only produced many children but also many enemies. Following a shady and untimely death, many of his children looked to grasp power and take the reigns of the Conglomerate. In truth, Stavin would leave the company to the daughter of his mistress Elibebe Dornwell who despite raising the kid as a simple maids child he loved her deeply. When the truth of his intentions reached his pure-born children they swiftly sought to remove all proof of it and have the bastard die a quick and quiet death. To no avail, the child was hidden away and the children went on to publicly fight once more over who should rule while the problem of a pretender coming into the picture was small. Elibebe would stay in hiding raising her daughter while the Aurashade civil war and collapse went on.

With such a high ranking battle being waged the company would fall to the plague of mismanagement. Not long after that, as if a stroke of divine luck, the coup on Coruscant occurred and the headquarters of Aurora perished in the chaos. Following the death of most of the family, the remaining corporation went from bleeding to its deathbed, the sole leadership looked for anywhere to dump the body, foreseeing no other future for the company.

More than willing to collect the carcass was Asalene Dornwell, the true heir to the company and raging spitfire of bitterness and anger. In her attempt to remove whatever kin or person could oppose her she traveled to the Asobi system in search of Assassins and bounty hunters. Fueled by revenge more than greed the charges optioned to her were far from reasonable and she was in limbo on Una-Hata looking for a path of vengeance.

Then the Empire attacked.

Fate bringing them together Ithnan met Asalene in a mountainous bunker that was smuggling whatever supplies they could from the burning world of Una-Hata. Saving her own skin she offered him her services in exchange for protection getting off world.

Asalene, business running in her veins, would help him in his economic ventures. Following the Imperial purification of the Asobi System, the two pounced to invest in the now poor real estate that remained through both ill-gotten financial means and outright threat and aggression. During the period of Purification, he had seized any liquidatable asset and hoarded it for himself for later use.

Among those affected was the Mining Guild which held a monopoly over many resource assets in the system. Faltering just enough for Ithnan to take what he pleased and promote the force necessary to keep it, as any if not all resistance was swatted away by Imperial fire, Asalene pressed for owners to sell for far less than they should and leave to find more “profitable” endeavors besides mining. This would land him with the ownership of numerous mining facilities and enough industry to invest it all into a more profitable venture, war.

Bonding through high-level intimidation and the bullying of others Asalene offered him something greater, peeking his avarice, a controlling interest in Aurashade for the death of her remaining siblings and an assurance the business would be overseen by her. Seeing no reason to deny himself such opportunity the deed was carried out using the information she had gathered n preparation for the bounty hunters the remaining siblings were killed swiftly and thoroughly enough that those who thought to strike an issue with the now emerging and entitled heiress would stay silent.

Within a month the Holoprojectors of all remaining Aurashade assets in the galaxy were flying the new logo of CryTech, an innovative company for the future. All previous directors being purged or disappearing the company was pumped with new blood and management. Going under the public name Aros Novan, Ithnan would agree to nurture the company back to its former glory.
