The secondary purpose of this submission is to provide the Templar Order with a viable droid which can be utilize for training purposes in lightsaber combat.

The CS/BX-06 Battle Droids, otherwise known as "Exemplars" for their relationship with the Templar Order, are a derivative of the Confederacy of Independent System's standard CS/BX-04 "Clanker" Battle Droids. This successor to the modern, mainstay of the Confederacy's Droid Army only has minor differences aesthetically with its predecessor. However, despite the cosmetic differences, the overall composition of the Exemplar Battle Droid remains exactly the same as the Clanker Battle Droid. The body is composed entirely out of durasteel, complete with a thin layer of armorplast coating, with its final addition being a mesh of agrinium in order to protect the vitals from EMP or other electrical damage.
The main difference between the Clanker and the Exemplar lies in its programming; hence the incorporation of the Gaboona Memory Crystal in each and every unit. This processor allows for the Exemplars to access a wide variety of combat programming that allows them to duel with the effectiveness of an above-average Apprentice. The lightsaber forms that are utilized are Shii-Cho and Shien to the aforementioned levels. Of course, this centralized programming creates a void in terms of blaster utilization or defense. Exemplars have absolutely zero blaster utilization programming, and therefore are all but powerless without the lightsabers included in their load out.
