  • [SIZE=11pt]Modularity - The RB-1’s weapons can be changed out giving it a sort of rough multi-role ability, as it can land and change out weapons. It also has that ability to be rearmed mid flight by specifically designed drones/support ships.[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=11pt]Who needs Pilots?: The RB-1 does not need a pilot to be operated as it has two droid brains within its tank like hull, allowing for more ships to be fielded when pilots are in short supply.[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=11pt]Big target: While it's not overly large the amount of fire power it has makes it a target for enemy forces and its speed does not help in that regard. [/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=11pt]Short range - Due to lacking a hyperdrive the RB-1 is limited in its ability to engage as it has to be launched for a larger ship, station or ground base.[/SIZE]

  • [SIZE=11pt]Pig on roller skates: not fast nor maneuverable, the RB-1 is out classed by just about everything and should not be used for dog-fighting.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=11pt]The RB-1 is the CSDF’s heavy bomber, designed to bring as much pain to the battlefield as it can while being able to take one hell of a beating at the same time. During development it was determined that because of their slow speed that pilots were not fond of piloting them and so a Droid brain was installed to act as pilot.[/SIZE]
 
Overall, this design is a little underpowered, and you can actually bump a few things up. But this comes with some caveats.

This is probably a bit higher in terms of weapons than simply high. Luckily, there is some room to increase the ratings in this design. I'd recommend changing the armament rating to "extreme", or alternatively, removing some weapons or lower their carried munition amount.

A "Low" squadron count is 8, while a "Very Low" squadron is 4. So whichever you want to use is probably fine as long as they match (and so long as the other ratings are in balance when all combined).
 
Edits done, Due to the other ship that will be running with them also being at Very low count i have gone with very low as well. I was also wondering if we can make speed slightly variable based on weapons being removed? [member="Gir Quee"]

Something like a stripped down version?

Stat trading is pretty common, and I don't see an issue with the general concept. However, this can get very confusing to people if there are a lot of options. If you want to make a single, stripped down variant and include it here, I don't see an issue with that. Just make sure that the increase in the speed rating is equivalent to the decrease in the armament rating (and the listed weapons).

The only group that will be using them is the CSDF, which after talking with a bunch of people i have determined are miss labeled under their availability, i ask that this sub be put on hold until i can get that fixed. [member="Gir Quee"]​
 
[member="Ayhia Katar"], understood. Let me know when that issue is resolved. I'm going to pull out the affiliation quote from the template:

Production: The scale is Unique (Only One Character), Semi-Unique (Maximum of 10 characters), Limited (Only one small group of characters. IE: Small task force, not entire factions.), Minor (Large groups of characters. (IE: Multiple factions, companies, or groups.), Mass-Produced. (Anyone.) Characters refer to NPCs & PCs.
If you stay with limited production, the affiliation will probably need to be more narrowly defined than just the CDSF as I understand it. You have room to bump the production up to minor production, which would solve this issue.
 
[member="Ayhia Katar"], you have enough room in terms of ratings/strengths/weaknesses to keep it as is. The only thing you'll need to change is the production from "limited" to "minor" in the production heading.
